The hanging flowers are the item I use most, followed by the plait extensions, just like you guys.

Chrizine, that's a great reason to stomp on by.... but come back and chat with us some more!

I have pots that hang on the wall like a picture frame. We got an ivy and now a dracaena plant. I hope the dracaena plant lives. I been having problems for a while keeping plants alive.

I killed a cactus the other day, but my theory is that bugs have actually been killing my plants. The cactus is my proof as it is very hard to kill those things. I'm trying to keep my aloe vera plant alive, which has been going great. It even sprouted a baby aloe. The plant next to it is dying though.

All our plants died this winter. We had to leave them outside because there are lots of horrible flies that were hatching out of the soil when we brought them in.
I spent the whole summer desperately fighting a leaf disease which kept reinfecting my tomato plant only for it to die in the cold anyway :mcmeh:

Can't chat all that much currently, since I'm at "work" (doing my masters thesis at a company, so it's not work in the sense that they pay me, but I'm at the office at the moment and should be working on it).

On the topic of killing cacti (is that the plural of cactus in English?) - my boyfriend once managed to kill one as well, but we're guessing he drowned it by watering it too often... He was super sad though, he only wanted to do the poor thing good :(

Good luck on that thesis. What are you studying again?

Cacti is correct. Google says you can also use the word cactuses, but as spellcheck doesn't acknowledge it as correct, it is not a word.

I think it's a lie when people say that cactus and succulents are easy plants to take care of. They're 'bout as hard as orchids in my opinion. Does anyone ever notice that most stores hot glue fake-ish flowers on top?

I've had good luck with dracaena plants. That's why I got a new one after a bunch of plants has died on me. This Ivy I got though. It is really thriving.

We also ruined a succulent :') It couldn't get enough light inside our house, even though it was right in front of to a floor-to-ceiling glass door/window. That made it grow upwards and get weirdly tall. We put it outside and it is actually still alive, but doing an extremely strange version of growing where it's literally bent over backwards on its stem now.
