I had a cousin almost go to prison because he killed an intruder that broke into his friend's house and was attacking his friend.
They tried to get him like he committed cold-blooded murder and he didn't =_=

I think the fall is heavily impacting my depression. It's either that or I'm not coping well with living away from Ash.

No, he wasn't, thankfully. He did end up with 30 years for drugs, though =_=
However, he didn't have to be in prison that long - he's out now.
He has to stay clean, get a job, all that stuff because he is still being watched 8u
I wasn't really that close to him because he was mean to me when we were kids, but I know he's not had they best life.
His mom died from AIDS before I was even born and his dad wasn't around for him so he lived with my grandma.
He ended up getting addicted to drugs after my grandma couldn't support him because she got sick.
He seems to be doing pretty good, though. My mom talks to him on Facebook u8

Sounds like he's had a pretty sad life, tbh. It's sad he resorted to drugs to deal with it, but that's what people do, including my parents. My dad was even in jail for a year or so, for drug dealing, but I was a baby then. Judging by his reactions (here and in the past) on the memories, he's been somehow traumatized.
It's great he's been doing well lately. It's nice ofyour mom to keep in touch with him, I'm sure he needs it.

Yeah, fairies do be random like that.
They usually startle me for a second.

I startle easily ._.
Yeah, my whole family is full of drug addicts and alcoholics.
My parents were addicts most of my childhood.
My dad went to jail for a while because he refused to snitch on someone.
My mom ended up snitching because the cops threatened to take me away from her.
My parents really hate cops, btw xD
My dad and my aunt and uncle and grandparents grew up in this small town not far away.
My aunt on my mom's side was talking about us selling our houses and buying a house out there.
My mom said it'd be a bad idea for me to live there because of my last name and being my dad's daughter.
My aunt said "Why U8" and my mom said "Because John (dad) and Alex (uncle) were hoodlums \>8U/"

Yay for coming from addicted families, I guess XD My dad hates the police too. In almost all of my conversations with him he manages to say his trademark "that's not what I threw the stones at ZOMO for!
" (ZOMO was a special militia force in the communist times in Poland). He still says the police are dogs and scums. Which, tbh, many are. Though I can't say I've had personal experience in that department.

I've had no experience with police. ......I take that back - I've had one experience.
This man tried to get into our car with me and my baby sister in it.
I waved at this woman and she saw me and ran inside to get help.
Workers and the manager came out to intervene, the guy punched the manager, police were called.
The police questioned me and acted like my mom was to blame for this guy trying to get into our car.
They acted like she left two KIDS in the car.
I told them I was 21 and they dropped the blaming my mom part quickly.
They also let the guy go because he wasn't mentally sound and he didn't hurt anyone.
o_O
WHAT? He punched someone and gave me lifelong PTSD.
