Those are wilds that are re-releases, they had already been submitted before and their time ran out, but their creators can pay FP to have them released back into the system.

Another tip, if you work with the resolution of the knuffel 2-3 times that of what you submit it as, when you shrink it down the lines will usually look smoother too. :3

I joined recently and I have a few questions if someone can answer.
Why are there more knuffels avaliable for kind than the other?
It can be that they are all bought? The difference between 6 and 492 is big and there are no numbers in between. My guess is that they are limited for some reason.
My other question is about knuffel design.
If I make a knuffel that goes through aging process will that be accepted?
I want to make a knuffel that grows as he levels up, from a toddler to adult.
I'm aware of all the rules I need to follow for a knuffel to be accepted, I've read them a few times.
I'm still thinking how to make transitions smooth and to stay somewhat fateful to those chibi proportions and yet make it distinctly clear that knuffel is aging and becoming adult.

When you first release a Wild Knuffel, you release 500 of them.
You can re-release that same Wild Knuffel. But it will cost you a fee. And it will only release 10 of them.
I don't know about the other question. Sorry. D:

@solorn
I think this post about the evolution for the stages kind of explains it, and as I see it them getting older is not allowed. In this case I'm referring to the last image with an X that has the plant.
Subject: Why was my Wild Knuffel rejected?

Actually, you can re-release more then 10, but it's usually not worth it, considering how they sell.
As for the second question, it depends how you'll do it, I guess. As ml pointed out, growing itself is not allowed, but I guess with a good idea you could push it through with enough elements evolving and "growing" being a side thing.

But isn't growing like evolution.
Like in the first image from monkey to a man?
I'll quote:
Keep in mind that "evolution" is the key word. Make your Knuffel evolve. It is not a plant that grows from a seed, not an animal that hatches from an egg, not a magical girl that transforms into something different in the blink of an eye, and not some random dude that changes his clothes to go out with his girlfriend.
In the thread it was emphasized that the evolution shouldn't be only change of clothes. And I think blinking, changing hair length and rising/lowering ears isn't much of a change that I would attribute to evolution.
