BTW fisheries job sound kind of fun.
Yeah I think a lot of artists are moving to it. It's a nice way to connect with your watchers and keep you motivated to keep going. I've been loving it.
Though people on youtube seem to like my fursuit making videos more. I might move into that a bit.

Its a lot of work but i'm super interested in it so I love it.
It must be a good idea with how many artists I see gravitating towards it.

Huh, I don't know why I was expecting that youtube would fade away and be one of the waning-use sites. But I guess not!
What's the one that has all those how-to videos on it? Not Youtube, something else. I forgot to bookmark it, and I want to look up how to fix my washing machine.

I always herd YouTube was doing good. It was getting a bit iffy because of video monetization. But it's always been competing with TV. People like watching short videos here and there.
I don't know what site you mean.

Well, it's probably because most everyone I know stopped watching it when they started sticking ads in the middle of youtube videos.
But that's most people I know here in my circle of friends and family, not online, since it doesn't seem to come up much here or other places I go online. So it's probably just a really skewed sample! That happens a lot to me; you get little pockets of population that have this or that characteristic and if you live in one of those pockets, it can confuse your sense of what "normal" is, because it's not actually really representative of the wider world. So there's a lot of things that I get brought up short by.

Ah yeah I can understand that. I do that the adds im the middle of videos. Some of the creators I watch leave monetization off and reply on patreon because they rather not annoy viewers.

@Akili: WikiHow maybe?
I wish I could watch more YouTube haha. I have a watchlist which is getting really long. But it takes so long to watch a video and you often can't do anything else at the same time, like if I'm watching TV I'll be doing something on my phone but I can't do that if I'm using the YouTube app. and when I do have time to watch I'm usually on a train, so the internet is super slow.

I'm behind on shows. I've been trying to watch more content related to what I do on youtube. It's different from what I use to watch which was mostly educational ones. But then they seem to have gotten bland lately like I feel like they have made so many videos they are stretching for things now XD

Youtube can be minimized and still play but you have to open it in Firefox browser and put on "computer mode" or whatever it's called. I think the Firefox also has all add blocks installed?? Don't take my word for it. But for sure it can be minimized and you can do other stuff while listening to the videos :)
(sorry if that's off topic, I didn't have time to fully read back DX)

It still plays on any browser, doesn't it? It does on Chrome. Not on my phone, though :P
