What is this air conditioning thing you speak of

To be honest, I get cold easily so even when my parents turn on the air con in their room and sets up the futon for my sister and I on the floor, I always end up going back to my room because I'm cold lol.

I have trouble sleeping with the ac on because I get cold but then when I switch off it gets so hot so I turn it on again and it's a vicious cycle.

Nah I'd have to cover up with something heavy lol. My room only has a fan and portable heater so I actually do fine with just a fan. Once it gets hotter, I'd lounge around in my parents room to cool down when they turn the ac on before heading to my own room to sleep pft.

That's a nice strategy. I fail to sleep when it's too cold or hot and gotta make lots of adjuctions each time.

yeahh same....so i just cool myself down, then go back to my room lol.

I reaaally want some central air conditioning. I'd super be into that.
These wall units are not enough for me.

I really need to clean mine too. I haven't done it in a long time.

when the AC gets too cold I just rug up. It's easier and saves power in the long run to turn the AC temp up a bit but not too much and rug up. Otherwise it uses too much to cool the place down again later.

the ac my parents room has is the kind that has the tube through the window...o; unfortunately, my room can't have a unit like that because one: i share a room with my sister so there are two beds and two: we don't have windows but a balcony...xD

besides, i'm fine with just a floor fan. xP

We might have to get one similar but there's no room for it if we had one with a tube.. but we'd still need portable as we rent.
