I haven't seen this anime yet but it looks great.
Gotta check on youtube too if they have some videos of it.
You know what, I was always fascinated by the Japanese folklore.
When I read on this anime's info on wikipedia, I saw that the story is all about "Tanuki" - a Japanese raccoon dog and known as a shape shifters in their folklore. Ooh, I must watch this anime!

I like all the different types of creatures and monsters it contains. :D I've only learned about Japanese folklore through manga though, so my knowledge is probably lopsided. -3-
What are some of your favorite animes/mangas? :D And what genre do you prefer?

Yes, really good show! Quite a nice soundtrack, too.
I would definitely recommend it. Especially if you like Japanese folklore.

Hm, ~23 min into the 1st episode I decided I didn't like it...the grandpa really got on my nerves. >:( But maybe I'll try it out again later.

Japanese folklore is so interesting, but I can't say I know much about it.
I havent actually been watching much anime lately... Although I did just watch The Devil is a Part-Timer! cause my partner begged me to watch it with him. xP I enjoyed it but it did get a bit too... anyways, there was one part that I did not like and thought it was a bit too intense and potentially triggering for such a light comedic anime.
I might check out The Eccentric Family though~

The Devil is a Part-Timer! is another series I dropped before the end of the first ep. |D I just didn't get the beginning (and it seemed like it was going to be mainly awkward humor) so yup.
Not sure if this is the right place, but this Japanese nail salon,
Hokuri, has adorable designs.
