Indeed, ice cream year round. My fave is mint chocolate chip. And cake batter... mmmmm.

Noooo, when you are cuddled up in a nest of three blankets and an opened-out sleeping bag, it is too cold for ice cream! :P

I think I like pumpkin-pie ice cream the best. Or maybe lemon. Or possibly cinnamon? Hmmm, but I'm very fond of black licorice ice cream, also. And peanut-butter ice cream! Oooh, yes! Oh, and spiced-brandy-and-peaches ice cream is also very good. Or raspberry. Or nutmeg pecan.
Sigh... I adore my ice cream maker, but there's never enough hot weather!

Eh, if it helps, I start with licorice fern roots, not any kind of candy thing. I'd have just said "licorice" but apparently that now refers to a *shape* of *candy* rather than a plant/flavor.
I will never understand language. Never.

You guys made me want ice cream.
Do you guys know about Baskin Robbins it's REALLY popular in Japan and it's indeed very good ice (even for my european standards ^^)
And look at all the (chemical) flavors *___*

Oooh, that lemon custard one looks really nice! But I don't understand how their pumpkin pie one doesn't have flecks of spices in it?
I may have to try to create a rum raisin one, too, that's just inspired.

As an American when I hear licorice I think of the red flavor. Black licorice the black flavor and I don't care for either XD

Don't question it, just eat.
What I like actually is that they always make new flavors and run campaigns so it never gets boring.

And rum raisin is heavenly. I never tried this brand's but I ate haagen dazs (another hugely popular brand in Japan. Which also is in Europe but it's blown out of proportion in Japan) and it's awesome.

Another brand I love, is Blue Seal which seems totally normal at first but who makes me melt everytime I eat it
