Rubie, that's me as well, but I have an ultimatum this time. Luckily I still weare boots, so I still have time.
AlkseeyaKC: I usually buy shoes cuz they are pretty and end up never wearing them. Also, the problem with trying them is that you can't know form 10 steps if they are comfortable or not. I once bought a pair of sandels that at the trying were super confortabile, but half an hour later they were murdering my feet.

So true. I have so many shoes that just cut my feet to ribbons.
Although recently I learned how to make heels hurt less. It's actually more to do with posture and how you're carrying things like handbags than with the actual pair of shoes. I couldn't believe it until I tried it and it worked.

Is there anyway to share that info? Or do you have to show it in person?
My feet will forever be thankful if you could.
Also, quick question. Dose posting sometimes give you more than 1 doughnut per post during the event? I noticed that I have a bit more doughnuts than I should be having

During the caravan, you get 1 donut per post.
When it's not around you get random amounts.
I'm just getting walking shoes. During the summer I have on flip flops. I can't do sandals. The one with a thing between your toes. Last time I did that. It make me bleed.

Maybe you were looking at the flower points thinking it was donuts? I did that earlier and got myself confused.

No, I was looking at the doughnuts in comparasens with the flowers and noticed that sometimes I gat the same amount. It might be some error that occurs from time to time. Not complaining at all, but I was curious if anyone else noticed something like this happening

I never had more than one donut per post. But I'm not super actively checking it

Let me see if I can explain somewhat XD Maybe it will work and maybe not.
So the first thing is about how we carry bags. Most women tend to wear a handbag on one side of the body, and it can tend to be heavy, which means that we have all this weight on one side so we are unbalanced. Not only unbalanced, but also this weight is dragging us down and all of that is going right down through our feet. So tip #1 is to carry as little as possible when wearing heels. Tip #2 is to wear either a backpack, so that the weight is distributed more evenly, or carry a clutch bag which is small and can be held in a more balanced position around your centre of gravity.
Next up is about posture. We're often slumping forwards, especially rounding our shoulders and putting our heads down. Especially if we're not confident in heels we might watch the ground too closely. Again this affects balance and shifts the weight of our bodies to where it shouldn't be, which means extra pressure that shouldn't be there. So tip #3, straighten your shoulders and raise your head up.
Another thing is that most people who don't think they walk well in heels will wear them for a short time, then get changed into a pair of flats that they brought with them once they feel that it's too hard. So this means the feet and legs have no time to get used to this style of shoe. Then it's likely that we don't wear the heels again for a long while because we think they're too painful. So because we have no practice, every time is like doing it for the first time again and we never learn these better strategies. Thus tip #4 is to wear heels and try to do it for more than a short while at a time.
I think there was more but that's all I can bring to mind right now, mostly because those are the things I realised I needed to correct XD

Now I'm going to check each post I make. Maybe my mistake earlier of thinking I was looking at the wrong points wasn't wrong and I did get more donuts.
