I also thought you could only get more than one donut for a post outside of caravan time.
On the topic of carrying things - I've recently started to ditch my really big bag in which I can fit everything I need in favour of taking a normal handbag + a simple cloth bag for extra stuff. Not only can I distribute it on two shoulders this way, but I can also leave the cloth bag in the office when I e.g. go for lunch and just carry my smaller handbag with me. Most of the things in the cloth bag are for my commute, like my rain skirt and warm gloves for on the bike, a book or crocheting supplies to occupy me on the train, stuff like that. No need to carry it around all day :)

What I have found from being required to wear heels for school is that starting small helps a lot.
And that shoes that really keep your feet inside it without slipping helps, so does padding at the back.
Basically, finding the right shoes to start with is important. Or so have I found.
Well, I actually came here before leaving just to announce that I finally managed to have donuts for the newest hair. All of them. YEAAAAH.

Yeah, having the right kind of shoes certainly helps.
Congrats on getting the hairs!!!
You just reminded me to check which item I'm actually working on and how much I need for it... I'm on the plait extensions, at 22/225. Will probably still take me a while :D

Thanks!
Looks like I have posted a lot the few last visits. I'm now totally up to date and there's still a bit before a new item is announced.
Guess I'll work on getting some doubles of some hair

Wow, not bad! I'm not sure if I'll ever catch up that far, but I'm happy already that I'm well ahead of the items leaving. But there's some more expensive items ahead for me still...

I really wish we could have formal clothing that still had functional pockets. Then bags wouldn't be as much of an issue.
Why can't we have formal clothing designed with pockets?
Sigh.

Absolutely with you on that! More pockets on clothing! *paints a sign to start protesting in the streets* :D
I actually recently bought a really nice businesslike dress, that I totally don't need right now since I don't really need to dress this formally (luckily), but it had decently sized pockets! And I thought if I didn't buy it and then at some point needed to dress like that I would forever hate myself for not getting it.

Yeah, that's a smart purchase. I would do that too!
I need to do what you are doing, and spend more time altering and making clothing so that I can be happy with what's in my closet instead of frustrated. There are a few things I really like, but a lot of it is just...
eh.
I've been thinking lately about how to find good warm gardening clothing -you need something sturdy, something that washes easily, that'll hold up to kneeling on damp soil without soaking through and freezing you.
Best bet seems to be some leather patches along the knees and where your heels dig into your back pockets when you sit back on your heels, and just make something.
Have you seen any patterns though? Something (not necessarily with leather patches) that I could start from?

700 that's how many donuts I need for my goal. Well I have the time I just need to remember to be active when the caravan is around.

@Akili: I was always just using old stuff I didn't use anymore for gardening.
That way, at the very worse, I could still just throw it away.
