It doesn't mean anything, not that I know of lol. It's just a name like any other.

And yeah, it was a silly anime but I watched it anyway.

But...the princess's name is SPARKLE!!! Who names a girl Spar-never mind. I've heard of a girl named Princess, so what the hell.

Hotarla is Sparkle's battle spider. Hotarla is cute and tiny due to her youth, and she can't say many words yet. Hotarla tends to be a little more cautious than Sparkle. Other times, spider and rider think alike.

She is very young, but is fearless in battle.

I think both my sister's and my real names were named after popular singers/actresses. I have no idea what my Chinese name means though.
