Thanks for the tips jacobgrey. Though I'm not thrilled about wearing heels more often, I'm going to try.

I'm still having trouble myself. Not all the active conversations are ones I can dip into. I feel bad for derailing some of them.

I'm always encouraging people to try the avatar forum as specially during the cavern. You can get a nice amount of doughnuts there

Yeah most of those games aren't my style. I made one, that I enjoy, but I don't like back and forth posting.

I'm okay at conversations to a point, I mean if I have nothing to add then there's no reason to be a part of the conversation.

I need to do what you are doing, and spend more time altering and making clothing so that I can be happy with what's in my closet instead of frustrated. There are a few things I really like, but a lot of it is just...
eh.
I've been thinking lately about how to find good warm gardening clothing -you need something sturdy, something that washes easily, that'll hold up to kneeling on damp soil without soaking through and freezing you.
Best bet seems to be some leather patches along the knees and where your heels dig into your back pockets when you sit back on your heels, and just make something.
Have you seen any patterns though? Something (not necessarily with leather patches) that I could start from?
I don't have any pants patterns, since I always prefer to wear skirts, but maybe you could start by just taking old pants that you think are not sturdy enough by themselves and just add the patches to them?

I never use heels. I don't want to ware things that hurt my feet.
My mom had a my mom and grandmother had really bad bunions on their feet. I asked mom when I should be getting them and she told me I should start to see them now. But she looked at my feet and I don't have any signs of it. I wonder if it was from the using heels. The it was more of a thing for women to wear them back then.
