I see high prices in the market a lot too. I'm not willing to pay more than what something is really worth. I have a good handle on that from being here so long, and sometimes people try to ask for way more than they should.
Although I don't really shop in the trades forum as I don't have much time. It takes ages to go through peoples' threads. Even when you know they probably have what you want.

The prices in the market are really weird to me. New TT pieces are being sold and bought for 50k wile older items are going for 10-15k. And once the set expires the separates are being sold for less than they were when the set was in shop. I find that really confusing

I think it's logic of all different users coming together, so some people seeing the value differently. But it's definitely mad that older things are cheaper. although I don't complain too much because this is a good way for me to afford things I've been questing for a long time XD I just think that the newer items are probably too expensive. Then again, they are rarer too since fewer people buy FC now.

People really are selling Items for way too much. But I've also seen old Items marked up by double. I want some of them but I don't want to spend my FPs on it that high.

Sometimes it's justified with the old items if they haven't sold in a while though. Then I think it's fair to add on a bit more. Like if something was last sold in 2014 that probably indicates that it's pretty rare XD

I can understand some inflation on some really old items that aren't available anymore, but sometimes it gets out of hand.

Sometimes I wonder too if they haven't sold for a while because they are too expensive.

Mmm....
and of course, listing things is a hassle to begin with so even if there were more that might have gone into circulation, sometimes it's hard for people to bother on the selling end, too.

I've fond that for older and rarer items, trades might work better. Its a lot slower but you can come to an agreement and it gives you so many more options.
