Yeah candlepin is just a weird New England thing. You can tell when a New Englander is across the country in a place like texas because we'd be questioning why the weather is so consistant, why isn't the ground and shorelines covered and filled with rocks, and why is there no candlepin bowling.

The weather is inconsistant in texas too. I didn't know that. There was one person my boyfriend knew that moved from texas to massachusetts for college and said that the New England winther was the coldest winter and hottest summer he ever felt because there is such a drastic temperature difference.

I remember seeing a lady carrying an umbrella on a clear day.
I asked my mom why and she said the weather is unpredictable here xD
