I kinda dislike english names usually too. It's so "not pokemony" too me xD That's why I was curious to know how they sounded in other languages.
I'm always amazed by the work done on the french version of names though.

Neith: XD I'm playing it in English but sometimes, when I Wonder Trade, I get pokemon for other parts of the world. And, when they evolve, their Japanese version names change to English ones...xP

So for example, I got a shiny German Rowlet from Wonder Trade. However, when it evolved, it adopted the English name...XD huge bummer because I prefer the final evolution German name of Rowlet (which is Silvarro and sounds SO MUCH MORE COOLER than Decidueye).

You can always look up the names on Serebii or something...xP That's how I knew Rowlet's final evolution name...xP

Yeahh they don't sound very Pokemony....like I was just laughing over the UB (Ultra Beast) names...xDDDDD like.....GUZZLORD? REALLY?

I looked from bulbapedia, but in fact I looked for italian, and it seems that the namesd stay english for them cause it's in english in their wiki. That's why I was wondering...
Found the german names though, they sound pretty cool even though I have no idea what it refers too, but it sounds pokemony (to me of course xD) (although Charizard is.... GLURAK ? what the hell ?)
I can't even picture what could be italian pokemons though... the idea itself doesn't sound better than english xDDD

LOOL I see...XD yeah I was looking up the alolan Pokémon on serebii but the English names were all like ICK which is why I named my starter Silvarro which is the German name for Decidueye.

I have got to get going on Sun!! I really want to get Magearna! I also want to hunt Ultrabeasts.

you have to defeat the elite four to get magearna because its only after you defeat them that the mall in Hau'oli opens and you can go to the shop to pick it up...xP

Yeah, that's what I heard. I'm trying to level up my team a bit more before I take on the Elite 4, so I'm ghost hunting.
