Yeah I stopped when my eyes were closed :mclaugh: but there were also times when nothing was really happening, like when she was preparing her makeup, waiting for teachers to check things etc. and she did my hair too.. curling takes a whiiile :mcomg:

Sounds fun Ghost!

I'm reading a book which is.... well, much heavier erotica than I thought it would be XD Like every single scene is just sex with the barest plotline to link it all together. Fine if you're into it I guess, but it's a bit awkward sometimes when I'm trying to read on the train :mcheh: Also the scenes aren't always great, sometimes they just make me roll my eyes.

Indeed, sounds like fun! And great that you could get some reading done ^.^
Yea curling your hair takes aaaages. That's why I never do it even though I like the look of it.. :3

Oh darn, that makes one feel really uncomfortable, reading books like that on the train :qhehe:
Can totally relate to the eyes-rolling thing. :D

Oooh, did you get pictures, Ghost? I bet that friend is going to have a lot of fun doing everyone up for Halloween!

That's too bad, Jacob. Usually the cover warns you but sometimes there's stealth erotica, and that always surprises me.

Yeah we got pictures. I'm not so sure about her doing makeup for Halloween though. It's not really celebrated here, unfortunately :mccry: If it was, it would definitely be my favourite holiday celebration :mcgloom:

People do celebrate Halloween here, but merely parties. I am not sure whether children still do trick or treat.

we were once driving home through small towns late on the 31st. it slowed us down to about 50%, I believe, because of all the children in the streets. it's a driver's nightmare: unfamiliar town, dark streets, and a lot of children. under supervision, of course, but still unpredictable and unaware of their surroundings more often than needed for everyone's safety.

It's very dark and cold here on Halloween. So we get a few kids, but I think places like malls and schools are having more Halloween events, and I think a lot of people go there instead. So we haven't gotten all that many kids the past couple years. Although I think part of it is also that a lot of people on my street don't turn their lights on, so I think a lot of people skip our street. And my house has a front door that kind of faces the side, so I think it confuses people, and I think some people skip my house too.

I tried giving away books one year, but only got three trick-or-treaters at all.
(I had a whole bunch of little early-reader books from a garage sale earlier that I thought would be fun to give away. Put them in an orchard basket and was so excited... ha ha, life never goes as planned.)
