The higher temperatures with severe heat saps it out of you too, doesn't it? Funny what temperature can do to a person.
I mostly curl up and think furiously when it gets cold, and then sleep a lot when it gets hot. Sleeping through both sounds much more sensible!

The weather does not have that much of an impact on me. I love to be outside when it is hot, but inside when it's cold, that's the only difference. I cannot study that well if it is too hot or too hot though.

We just found out another Elder is in trouble. She's, hmmm, I guess a first cousin once removed, maybe? But the ages of the siblings were so far apart she's more in my grandparents' generation. We're trying to figure out what's best to do right now; she was a real hoarder so there's a lot to deal with. The utility people won't even go into the house to turn off the utilities, but she's safely moved for now anyhow while we try and sort it out. If she were anywhere near me she'd just join us, but she's not, and that branch of the family isn't as organized, so we'll have to see. She might join me anyhow, if nothing better is suggested. Meanwhile I'm trying to sort things out here just in case.

Speaking of doing things I gotta clean up my old My Little Ponies, they were in a box the basement and it flooded so they stink. Especially since I want to add on and get more vintage ones. But right now it's late I have to get my daughter off to bed soon and my shoulder hurts. Why I didn't do this when we lost net I'll never know. Anyone have any vintage My Little Ponies they want to get ride of? I'll be more than happy to take them off your hands. lol

Ah, I get not doing the things that would be a good idea to do while not having Internet. I rarely manage that either, somehow not being able to do the things I want to do sucks the motivation to look for other things that would be a good idea to do right out of me.
I hope you manage to get the smell off though! Probably a good idea to do it sooner rather than later, so it doesn't sink in more and more.

My daughter and I have a cold. Ugh. I want to sleep, but I don't.
