We don't know any of our neighbours at all, even though we're in an apartment block with shared corridors and all XD People move out fast here. At least it feels fast to me. Some only stay a year, some three or four. Which is at least good because occasionally the annoying people leave haha. I think I moaned to you guys a lot about the family who lived upstairs and mistreated their poor children, and they left sometime last year.
Although, I do kind of miss our old next door neighbour. During the first bit of the pandemic, and before then in the summer, he was doing everything next to the open window so I was eavesdropping on all the drama in his life rofl. That was fun. Since then, we just have quiet people around us now.
I did talk to a neighbour when I was young. I remember he was an older guy and he taught me how to whistle. My mother was super pissed off at that because then I would whistle all the time XD as if she thought I was going to get through my whole life without learning to whistle from someone else anyway, I mean honestly.
Sorry you're losing people Moi. Cancer sucks.

I'm very introverted and withdrawn, but since I've known these people for most of my life - I'm friendly with them.
I've lost a lot of people to cancer.
My grandma, my grandpa, my great grandma, a family friend, a friend I met on here, my neighbors...
A lot of them smoked and it led to lung cancer or tumors in their lungs.
My grandpa smoked a lot but quit for years and yet got lung cancer.
It's almost like there's no point to even quitting.
The nice thing about knowing your neighbors is that we look out for each other.
If we see something suspicious, we alert each other.
Or we used to before most of them died ;;
I remember this elderly black man who lived in the house one of my neighbors who died moved into.
I guess he had his grandkids over and I was swinging on my tree swing when I saw this bigass snake on the roof of his garage ._.
I ran and told my dad and he came out to check.
My dad grew up on a farm, out in the country and he isn't scared of anything.
He saw the snake and he told the kids to stay away from the garage and he managed to killed it.
I was the only one who saw it because I was going up into the air on my swing 8u
Interesting thing about that neighbor too is he smoked cigars.
Every so often, I'll smell cigars despite no one in the area around me smokes them outside like he used to ._.

Cancer happens too often to people

Both my grandfathers died of lung cancer.
Now my mom's partner is fighting cancer. Cancer is everywhere.
I'll shut up 'cause I'm depressed af and if I go on, I'll drag y'all down with me
Jacob, how are you doing? Everything all right with baby B? How's J?

Oh, I'm already at the depressed party <8u
Got my party hat on and everything.
Maybe this will lighten the mood...
I went to GED class for a while and I was working when I heard these two guys and my teacher talking about cancer.
Guy: We can put people on the moon but we can't cure cancer. Why?
Teacher: Genetic. It's in your genes.
Guy: Well, can't they make a shot or a pill to change the genes?
Guy 2: That's how you make zombies.
Me: -snorts-

@mem everything is good! Yesterday B learned to shake a rattle for the first time. You should have seen how amazed me and J were, clapping and grinning like idiots and telling him how clever he is XD He's already met all of the month two milestones and all but one of the month three milestones he's supposed to get to, and he's only just turned two months old. And he's still getting bigger and bigger XD
@moi: party hats at the depressed party made me lol

Well, I mean it's a party. You always need party hats.
<8u
You know, when my sister was a baby - she got these little teal pacifiers that smelled like...vanilla?
They smelled so good.
Did you get anything like that?

*puts a party hat on* let's get the party going then

what's a party without pointless games? This one's called "crybaby", whoever cries the loudest, wins. I'll go first:
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!
@jacob: yay, he's a fast learner! How big is he now? My nephew apparently looks like a 6 month baby but he's only 3 XD
Maybe it's a boy thing, to grow fast one way or another.

@mem almost definitely XD Wasn't your sister's baby overdue as well? If so that probably helps too! He's over a stone now, I haven't been able to measure him but I should do so later today, he was 60cm tall last time and I'm sure he's bigger now. He's almost grown out of his 0-3 month clothes now! I'm only getting 6 month+ ones from now on since he'll fit into them so soon, and we already have enough of a staple set of 3-6 month clothes to go on with.
Also he would definitely win a game of crybaby, last night he screamed SO LOUD I honestly almost had a heart attack, one minute asleep and the next minute he sounded like someone was cutting off his foot with a rusty saw
I won't try to enter because I have a sore, dry throat thanks to the lack of sleep and the constantly talking to entertain him XD

Yeah, they smelled so good - I kept one for myself xD
I'm actually overdo for a good crying fit.
I keep putting it off.
Here's something to maybe lighten the mood?
My dad feeds this stray cat all the time.
He came home and sat on his bed and he heard a meow.
My mom told me he and the cat were on the bed for a bit xD
I was just like "Aww 8,u"
