@Moi: I'd never think that it could be bad luck :mcdead:
Jacob is right, you are a wise woman :mclaugh: :mccool: :qh:

@jacob: I would love that in person gossip :mclaugh: Maybe I'll come visit when I have enough of my brother-in-law :mcsquee: Where are you btw? My sister lives in Windsor now, it's somewhere near London I think?

Men are weak sometimes, haha. Imagine if a woman would throw a tantrum like that, she'd probably get called a bad mother or something along those lines. Sexism aside, some people just aren't prepared for the consequences. They know they'll be parents, but they don't anticipate that they won't sleep well for at least 2 years of the baby's life XD
I wouldn't be surprised if he just doesn't want to upset you anymore XD But I bet he just heard how silly he sounded compared to your struggles :mcwink:

@mem ah, we're quite some way from Windsor then :mcheh: It's about a two hour journey by train, or an hour and a half by car. We're just near Royal Tunbridge Wells.
... for now, anyway :D Because we finally seem to have some interest on the flat. We had an open house where four groups came to look around and two of them are talking to their mortgage advisors and want to come back with an offer once they've settled on a price they can afford. Crossing all my fingers and toes!!

I know, it's so silly, especially with men I think. I've heard some women being surprised by it too, but... another example, the other day J was complaining because he didn't have time to both do a workout AND spend three hours gaming with his friend online in the same day. I just said to him, yep, we have a BABY now! This is how it is! Get used to it!
He's never been good at time management tho. One other day I got really mad at him because he worked out for too long and then stayed too long in the shower and by the time he came out it was almost time for me to sleep, but we hadn't even eaten yet. I was like, you just took away my sleep time :mcshout: He was very apologetic but the damage was already done, saying sorry didn't magically give me an hour of sleep back.
Btw it's still the same on sleeping arrangements. He sleeps from midnight to 7am. I sleep from 8 (lol he always needs help with something right before bed so actually I get to bed from 10) til midnight, and then whenever B decides to wake up - usually between 2 and 4am for an hour, then through to between 6 and 8 am. So he gets 7 hours straight through with no disturbance, but I get 4 hours then a break, 3 hours then a break, and I don't usually manage to fall asleep right away in that first break because I see all the things he didn't finish doing when he was awake, like laundry or cleaning or making up bottles or so on. And quite often for at least one hour I'm just comforting B because he'll be half-waking up and falling back to sleep again and I'm desperately trying to get that five more minutes :mcdead: In all I usually get less than 5 hours total and it's all interrupted.

My aunt said that to me once 8u
But I think she just thinks I'm stupid because we rarely talk much xD

Being a parent is a really hard job. Don't think I could do it. However, I kind of had to experience it anyways. My sister was born when I was 18 and I help raise her.
I remember she'd say she hated us.

Sister: I hate you!
Mom: -sad-

Sister: I hate you!
Aunt: -angry and sad-

Sister: I hate you!
Me: I don't care Bu

@jacob: Aw :mccry: I guess we won't meet up then :mcgloom: Maybe someday another oportunity will strike :mclaugh:
Wow, that's wonderful! Did you get any offers by now?

I feel J about poor time management skills, I can never properly estimate how long stuff will take, even with overestimating I somehow mostly underestimate :mcsweat: Not to mention tiny distractions all over the place.
5 hours of interrupted sleep? How do you even function? Are you high on adrenaline or something? XD

@Moi: Maybe she doesn't think you're stupid, since she said otherwise :mcwink:

Haha, siblings be brutal like that :mclol:

What's new anyways, guys? My mom got covid XD I'm apparently healthy judging by the negative test result. Although I did catch a cold or a flu. Unless it's actually covid and the home tests suck XD

@Mem still no offers yet ahhhhh. the estate agent says there are two people who keep saying they are definitely interested to put in an offer but are just measuring their finances to see what they can afford. She keeps checking up on them and they keep saying 'we just need a couple more days' -____- lol

Uhhhh I don't know how I'm functioning XD But... BIG NEWS! This week B did his first 6 hour sleep. Then he did his first 8 hour sleep. and this time he SLEPT FOR 9 HOURSSSSSS I had so much sleep you guys lol. I'm still kinda tired because I guess you can't just catch up all your missed sleep in a couple of nights, but it's been so much better just from that little break. We put him up to the next level of amount of milk he should have each feed as he got to the weight requirements for it, so I think he's now more full and satisfied and doesn't mind sleeping all night. He does still wake me up at about 6am, which is way too early for this night owl rofl :mcheh:

Hope you don't get it! and your mum is okay :3

@moi: that's funny about your sister XD agh one day B will be an angry teenage boy and he will say 'I hate you' to me and I will probably cry :mcomg: :mccry:

Aa, that must be frustrating :mcheh: I'm crossing my fingers they do put in an offer soon :qh:

Haha, does any mother tho XD
Congratulations! *confetti rain* for the first nights of more sleep!
I bet it will take months to catch up on the missed hours though :mcheh:

I probably caught it, lol. I'll buy a test in a day or two, depending on how bad I'll be feeling. right now it's pretty annoying, the headache and tiredness. I hope it's just a normal flu :mctongue:
Thanks! I try to take care of her as much as I can.

I used to tell my dad I hated him when I got in trouble.
I can't take it back xD

Sorry about your mom catching COVID :\

I've been wanting to try some CBD oil because it says it helps people with bad anxiety.
Turns out it's pretty pricey 8u

CBD oil is pricey, but if you're not using it every day it lasts a pretty long time. I started using it for a chronic pain condition and I was really bristling at the price, but then it turned out that you only have to take like a tiny dropper of it. So a bottle of it ends up lasting me months O:

In the end it didn't do a heck of a lot for pain, I have no idea how well it works for anxiety though. Sometimes when my anxiety is really severe I take some like THC oil and nope out for a day LOL.
