95% of my social interaction and entertainment is reliant on an internet connection so I really hate when mine goes out.

I know how to drive, I just physically can't do it.

I guess that I could probably drive in an emergency, but I wouldn't risk it otherwise.

yeah i think it would be anarchy if ALL internet/wifi goes down......8U i mean, just look how much chaos and trouble just ONE telecom company going down does.......8U around 1/4 of Canada, OFFLINE. 8U

On the other hand, given how addicted we are to the internet, perhaps there is SOME good to the internet going down. It could finally force everyone to meet face to face and be more active?

I know that I was really unhappy during the pandemic lockdown when I couldn't get any irl social interactions, and I felt much much better after going back to work in person and socializing with my coworkers and students offline

Yeah, some social interaction is good for the soul and body.
I'm not too social tbh, but being completely isolated was a bit too much even for me.

But I use internet as my primary source of relax and entertaiment, so if I had no internet what would change the most is that.
Meaning I would read more.
I would definetely read much more!

Which would be good too, I suppose.
