I think I also have a lot of avis saved, but I rarely ever go back to one and use it
I save my favourite dream avis offsite, in case an item gets remade and I still want to have the original design. I lost one completely before I did that, I'm still sad about it :(

Yes, I admit to wishing Firn would not remake older items. >.< If she really wants to update one, just release it as a new updated version so the site still has the old one too....

but it's her site so if she really can't stand looking at an older version I guess I'll just be grateful we have KofK at all.

It would be awesome if she had the remake and the original as options. I understand her reasonning for updating them though.

Yeah, I get it too and more often than not I do like the remake. But it's just some items where I really loved the old look... Or it just worked in an avi in the old design but changed too much (normally colourwise) to still fit even remotely. Then I might still like the new version, but that avi is broken anyway.

Yeah a couple of my old aviatars need to be changed because an ilf item was redone, but I don’t mind it.

Mmm hmmm.


I wonder which things she'll decide need to be changed another ten years from now? Styles shift over time, but it's fun to try and imagine how!

Popularity-wise though, aren't the remaked old items more better? :o

Not sure.... I can only speak for sure about my own preferences, after all....
and I guess, really, the key thing is if it's more popular with Firn!

Some of the items look better remade but some of them were ruined for me.

It would be nice if we could see the old looks of items. Stinks the useffle had to go

I don't save them in DAC or wardrobe, just to my own computer XD I have them on Imgur but who knows when that will be taken away, I stopped relying on it.

Useffel was where I had a lot of old avis saved before. You could just upload them straight from Kofk so you didn't need to have them saved to your computer first. A couple of years of avis went that way.
