Going to doctors has been a huge pain with the pandemic, I think a lot of people have been putting it off. I still need to find like a new family doctor, but looking for one is stressful.

Yeah blocked out memories are way more common than you'd think eh? For years and years I didn't even realize any were gone. Then when I got diagnosed I was looking at statistics, I found out the estimated rate for my memory-blocking disorder was like 1.5% of the population. Which doesn't sound like a lot, but that means every time you see 100 there was probably at least one, which is crazy.

wait, you're telling me you can tell how old you were when stuff happened? I would never XD I can never tell when shit happened, what year or how old I was. If I even remember something. My memories are very specific situations but mostly foggy, if that makes sense. The earliest the memory the more I need some sort of trigger to recall stuff.

I often don't remember stuff my family tells me I was old enough to remember. I've been wondering since Wednesday if I've blocked something, a very traumatic experience. It's a heavy topic, but I have very strong reactions around it for a person that has allegedly never experienced it and it makes me wonder... I am highly sensitive tho, so maybe that's just how I react.

I see we share many musings, Moi Imagining memories freaks me out about the essence of reality. But the potential of my brain just blocking memories out and still keeping them somewhere freaks me out even more

I never really liked leaving home. Only now the pandemic made it socially acceptable though

Not really. In this case, it's pretty easy. It was the last year of high school haha. And the stress that happened was related directly to that period of time, so it's easy to work out.
in fact, realistically, I was a bit wrong - it started when I was 17, I'm now remembering. Because my 18th birthday happened somewhere in there. I vaguely remember someone buying me my first alcoholic drink in a restaurant. That's all though lol. Don't remember the rest of the night, who else was there, etc at all.

Our favourite one was from when we put him into a bear suit, and he got really annoyed about it. In one of the shots he looks like he's snarling, like a real bear. So we loved it XD

When I was little, my mom spent forever curling all my hair and dressing me up for picture day at school, but I was frustrated from all the pulling on my hair and stuff so when they took the pictures I frowned the whole time. My mom got super mad, and told me I ruined Christmas because she couldn't gift people pictures of me.

If I had a kid, I'd think it was hilarious to have all their school pictures and then just one year where they're scowling at the camera.

@jacob: Ah, yes, that makes sense. That's the round about approach I take to figure when certain events happened. Like I remember I was on second year of middle school when I got either a call or a text that my grandpa died. So second year I had to be about 14/15. Since he died in January I was probably still 14. Nothing is for sure though. Sometimes I calculate it the other way around, I look at my garndpa's death date to figure out which grade I was in
Hey, speaking of my grandpa, today is the anniversary of his birthday. It's funny how he manages to get into my mind whenever the date is about him, haha. I'll light a candle for him I guess.

My sister got gifted a photo shoot for Maks from her sister-in-law and he was so happy in all of the photos, smiling and all. He looked adorable in the Harry Potter costume
