Kingdom of Knuffel

Useffel sounds like a lot of people found it very helpful, but surely a lot of work to maintain. I wonder sometimes if it would be worth learning some programming, but it seems like the kind of knowledge where you can't learn it once and be done (like learning how to sew buttons or ride a bike), it seems like the kind of knowledge where you have to constantly be tinkering with what you've learned and relearning and unlearning and adding to it some more, and I just can't see that kind of investment being worthwhile in the end, not when there are so many other things to learn, too; not with my current lifestyle. But times like this, I get a little wistful that there's not an infinite amount of time to learn things in, because it would be fun to know how Useffel was created, to poke at it and see how difficult it would be to create and maintain that.

When I had more free time I use to mess with coding sites. I had a lot of fun trying to figure out how to do. But I also broke the pet site I was making and that was the end of that. XD

If I were to try again I would hire someone. I always thought Firn was lucky that her huddy can do these things. I wish he had more time to work the site though.

Yes.. time is always the sticking point, it seems.

Time is difficult to make.

You know how sometimes you get those pop-ups and they ask you to choose the food or toy or animal or whatever to prove you're not a bot, and then you get a quest material item or a happy pill or something?

The little icons of the things you choose between.

Were those ever anything on the site? Like those tiny big-headed animals, were those the early functional knuffel room items?

They definitely weren't room items, since rooms are a rather new feature.
Maybe they show up in quests? Like, as the thing you go to get from Umiel? That's the only thing I can think of where they might show up right now.

Okay. I was curious since they definitely seem like Firn's art, but I didn't remember seeing them anywhere else.

She might have just drawn them specifically for the popups :)
