Sounds pretty cute xD
I'm reminded of a play we did when I was in kindergarten where we were dressing up as characters from like...nursery rhymes and stuff.
I was one of the three kittens who lost their mittens xD
Yeah, that's an unpleasant memory :\
People were rough with my hair too Bu
Brushing really hard and pulling and stuff.
So I don't let anyone touch my hair.
Hair stylists are so gentle when they wash and cut my hair >8u
I also hate hairdryers because they burned my scalp when I was a kid \u8</
So I never dry my hair with one.

I feel lucky my mom always tried to be gentle with my hair and if she yanked, she apologized every time. I guess that's a pro of having a highly sensitive parent.
I actually like it when people play with my hair. But also I'm really attached to my hair emotionally and their my love and pride, lol, i'm vain

Oh gosh, I'm sorry if I triggered that memory Jacob, I hope you're alright D:
It's always tough when stuff like that comes back, so be kind to yourself.
LOL kids dressed up as kittens sounds so cute. I don't know that I was ever in a play like that, if I was I don't remember. I do remember having a ballet recital where I had to dress up like a flower though.

My hair is really thick so it knots up and stuff easily and my family would just brush really hard and it'd pull and hurt Bu
I dressed up with a flower on my head for something at school...
We still have pictures of it and we all just had flowers on our heads.
No idea what that was about 8u
I also dressed as an angel for a few plays.
My grandpa made these really nice wings for me too.
Wish I still had them...

Awww, that's very sweet that your grandpa made wings for you. Hopefully you still have some pictures, even if the actual wings are gone.
I must have dressed up as a fairy for something once, because when you mentioned wings I remembered I use to have this pair of fairy wings when I was little. Maybe it was for ballet? I have no idea. I liked running around in them for no reason though.

@HanafuruLove I adore the Wild Knuffel you've been releasing. They're all such darlings and your art is lovely.

In kindergarten I was in a play with a main role of the ladybug from a poem of a Polish poet. He wrote nice kids rhymes. That I remember. Maybe more from the pictures than anything.
Flowers on the head might've been for the first day of spring maybe...? Or Earth Day.
My mom is a tailor and she used to sew my costumes for carnivals and stuff like that. If I could fit into some of those dresses, I'd definitely keep them, they were so pretty

I remember I liked to wear them at home just because I wanted to. I always wanted to be a princess when I grow up

Awww thank you! It makes me really happy to know people are enjoying them. It cracked me up when I looked at your knuffel and saw "Too Cool For Skool" xD Thanks so much for adopting them!
@Mem
Oh random LOL, my mom is a tailor too! She usually only makes doll clothes, but when I was a kid she made me some really elaborate halloween costumes hahaha. I remember going as a pokemon one year.

Don't be sorry! It's not your fault. It's the fault of the person who caused the memory haha.
I tell my baby I love him 6438973 times a day and even if I get annoyed for one moment, I tell him right after that it's okay and I know he can't help it and I would still love him even if he did it on purpose. I am determined to be a different kind of parent lol.
I forgot wild knuffels were a thing for a while there O_O I better go look
