lol Yeah. I had to change my main character's name for Mystiqa from Joslyn to Airlea because every time I mentioned about changing Joslyn's hair color or something people thought I was talking about my daughter. XD

Ah, well, maybe it's more popular in Asian communities? I mean, that's where it originated, after all.

Oh, nice! I can't decide on what I want my first knuffel to be. I have some concept arts and half-baked ideas here and there, but nothing completed.

Also it can be either! If you want to make multiples, I'd just put them next to each other. I did mine as my persona, and DC has hers as her dream avvie, so it's up to you.

Oh dear I've poofed again... luckily I came back for the topic of names. I love names and etymology and choosing names for OCs.
As for OC genders I have far more ladies and enbies than dudes.

Aha, yep! I revamped the front page a bit, so there are things new and old on there. I'll try to update it more regularly!

How do you choose your names? By etymology then?

owo Wow, first time I've heard the term "enbies". Nice! Why do you have more female and non-binary OCs? Is it because of interest, or because you relate to one group more?

Sometimes a character just names themself and the name sticks, yknow? Sometimes I do use etymology first thing, especially if it's a name the character chooses for themselves "in-canon". I can often find some sort of connection an OC has to their name, chosen or not, and regardless of if i planned the name or if it just came to me.

I'm afab and I identify as nonbinary! It's more based on being able to relate and having had experience with it. Though I do have some guys i enjoy RPing and writing. But by default, my OCs tend to be female aligned.

Aha, I know that feel. I often give a character a nickname while working on them, and sometimes they keep that nickname, even after I find them something proper.
