Didn't get any of the three things in... spent the day drowning in a sea of mucilaginous fluids and trying desperately to stuff myself with so much vitamin C I turn into a lemon.
Today was much the same.
We'll see what tomorrow brings -predictions are currently pointing toward another reprise of the same theme.

Aw, you poor thing. That really sucks.
I wish you well with your lemon transformation. May it bring clear nostrils and happiness.

ha ha, yes.... best possible outcome. :mclaugh:

Now I kind of want to make lemon jello.
I'm not sure why, but I tend to think of those sorts of desserts as being food for when you're sick. Huh. Weird association.

Akili Li - :qh: :qh:
I think that lots of people like jello while they're sick. It's soft and easy to eat.

I usually eat/drink a lot of tomato soup when I'm sick.

My husband main lines gatorade or powerade when he's sick. He likes jello too.

jacobgrey - Aw. That's sucks, hun.
Do you have any times where work isn't quite so busy?
Or maybe you could do a little vacation. Like a 3 day weekend where you just vegetate at home.

Not really haha. I have a couple of days' break at Christmas and
I usually manage to take my birthday and J's birthday off. We forced out a 5-day holiday last year and it ended up costing me all of my savings because of the work that I wasn't able to do while I was away on top of the price of the trip, so I'm not doing that again in a hurry. Not to mention I didn't even relax properly because I wanted to see the city we visited and make sure we didn't miss anything.
Of course that's part of the problem as well, because if I still had savings it wouldn't feel so bad to just take a day off for the hell of it and sit around at home. Don't have a safety net anymore.

Oh no. That's awful. I'm so sorry.
Vacations are supposed to be relaxing, not stressful.

Well I hope that you do manage to get a few days off from work soon, and they're not stressful.
