Jacob, that sounds super overwhelming! I hope you can build a buffer of savings back up again. Hopefully J finds something soon that will help.

Ms_Zuralli you have confused me utterly. How could there be phones in medieval times? They weren't invented until so recently!

Interesting. I'm not sure what exactly that entails but I wish you lots of luck with it.

:mccute: Medieval Times is a jousting tournament thing. Patrons dine and watch the tournament and games and such. It's kind of really awesome. I think some places even have a stand alone castle. The one I'll be working at is attached to a mall. It's really pretty cool and they even have a queen now when it used to only just be kings. So far there are only 9 in the country.

Huh! That sounds like an amazing theme for a restaurant!

Will you get to wear a costume?

No as I work in the call center part. Only the gift shop workers, wait staff, and tournament peeps wear a costume. Still will be fun though. This will be my first time working for a corporation. Normally I work for small businesses.

I think that I may have heard of it now that you explained it.
Sounds like something my husband and I would be super into. lol.
Queens are always cooler than kings.

You'll have to let us know how it goes.

Oh man! The first time you've worked for a corporation? That's so crazy. Most of my jobs have been at a corporation. I actually prefer working at one because the laws are more strict with them. They HAVE to give you breaks and stuff or you can sue them. With family businesses, especially ones where you work under the table like I did, they would basically slave drive you. No breaks, shitty working conditions. It sucked.

Not saying that there aren't good family businesses. Just the one I worked at sucked butt.

I've been to Medieval Times in Florida XD many years ago. It was cheesy but I loved it.

Thanks, Light and Akili :mcheh: I hope so too.

Has anyone been to a renaissance faire? Those are awesome. I love em. So much cool stuff to see. Lots of handmade items too.
The one that we have nearish by actually has a forge that people work on. It's really cool.
