Vodka can be pretty hard.
Grey Goose is super smooth. Like I can drink that straight.

One of my favorite mixed drinks is a white cuban. Which is coffee liqueur, rum, and milk/cream/baileys. How ever strong you want to make it. I like it better than white russians. I feel like the flavor of the rum goes better with the coffee and milk flavors.

light: Oh my gooosh fried chicken is one of my favorite foods, especially Korean fried chicken.

I didn't know they had flavored whiskey... Also don't know a lot about alcohol in general

I usually find I love the taste of a sip of vodka, then I buy it based on that, and then I end up finding that it's too harsh for me in larger quantities and I struggle to finish a glass XD I have yet to figure out how to manage this issue.

I'm with y'all on the sweet alcohols - mead is pretty much the only alcohol I like. I think I've tried Baileys and liked it before as well.

I've never tried Korean fried chicken. Does it taste a lot different than american?

Oh yah. I would say a large percent of alcohols come in different flavors.

Vodka is usually used as a mix. It's too strong for most people to just drink straight up. You should try it with sprite and cherry syrup. That's awesome.

Mead is super sweet.

I don't really like vodka as a mixer because I usually prefer the taste of the mixer on its own XD like lemonade or orange juice or so on... and the stuff I don't like enough to drink alone, I don't like with vodka in either lol.

Haha, yeah, I generally have a similar issue with things that get too close in taste to something without alcohol - like sweet wines or ciders taste too close to grape or apple juice for me, and then I feel like I'd enjoy it more if it was straight up juice. Actually, we used to buy some grape juice from a winemaker where my dad liked to get wine, they made heavenly grape juice :D
That's why I like mead, because it's very different from anything without alcohol, and I actually think without the tang from the alcohol it would be too sweet - so it's the one drink where I feel the alcoholic taste really improves it :D

Ooh yes there was a vineyard in France that used to do the best grape juice I've ever tasted. We went back there a few years ago and I was super disappointed that they didn't sell it anymore.

Awww, why would they stop selling it? :(

Btw, Jacob, congrats on the new book release! I just ordered a paperback, you're gonna go on my shelf now :)

light: In my opinion, it does. The breading is more crispy because it's fried twice, and we do a lot of sweet and savory sauces

If i'm trying alcohol, it better taste like straight up juice
