Don't really like sushi myself.
Can only eat the shrimp based ones since it's close to my usual tastes.

Nan; yeah i guess? i mean, if you're going to try something, its good to try something new? XP

spider roll is good! its just crab anyway, and not as bad as eating the...er.......'reproductive organs of a sea urchin' lol. //laughs

i sometimes laugh at shows like Amazing Race when they have to drink something like 'snake wine' or 'thousand year old eggs.' personally, i've never had a chance to drink snake wine but those black 'thousand year old eggs' are really good!

I like most kinds of sushi. One kind I don't really know how I feel about is the octopus kind. It was chewy. Very very chewy. I have no idea how I was able to eat it.

Which makes sense, right?
Like my mom is neutral on crab, but if has to get the meat out if the legs or body herself, she doesn't have any interest
Me? I use a fork and I'm good

Well it was a Japanese restaurant and I wasn't going to argue with them. Compared to them I know squat.

oooooh i'm like that too Hart. xD if i have to spend all this extra time to remove food from a shell then forget it! although, i'm generally still not a huge fan of seafood apart from fish. i'm okayyy with crab and some shrimp but not much into lobster. as for soft shell crab, the shell IS soft so you can eat right through it...c; some asian supermarkets here actually sell soft shell crab, all nicely done and crispy, made as a snack.

Yeah I love how there's all this fancy dining equipment for crab legs and I'm over here with a fork
I kid you not I was at some dockside seafood place in NYC and I used the things for one leg before I went nope and went to my usual method, for better and faster results
And there's been a few times where I'll have crab legs when we're eating somewhere and when we leave I, or someone in the group I'm with, see someone copying me because it works XD
