Here I am, returning from the dead like a well-aged parfait (ew)

Regarding the naming theme, it pretty much depends? Sometimes they name themselves, then there's looking for special meanings or matching types (like if the story has a theme in particular), other times I want to use a certain name so design the character with that concept in mind. There's just so many ways to go about it.

Yo! I'm good, thanks! My mom brought me some tamales, so I'm about to go eat tamales. X3

How are you?

@Oceannist

AHHHH MY WIFE HAS GRACED ME WITH HER PRESENCE!!! I AM NOT WORTHY. DX

*lays down* It's been fifty years since we've lasted talked on KofK! It feels like some sort of weird anniversary. (Though if we really wanted to go that route, I think we were either spamming KC's or Kityu's art shop when we first met and gushed over our OCs.)

Yep, I'm the same when it comes to naming OCs. I think it makes sense that way --if you think about how different parents would use different techniques to name their kids, then it makes sense to choose OC names with that variety in mind. If you want to add that particular aspect of depth to it, then you end up thinking about what kind of parents they had to name them that way.

I've never eaten tamales. What do they taste like?

I'm doing alright. I was supposed to have make up classes today for some suspensions but it ended up getting suspended too. Welp. Also, I'm gauging what should I do with 1.5k FP. Should I wait it out and buy a knuffel or buy store items.

Mmm... a nice texture... like slightly more crumbly than a baked potato, and kinda savory. I like mine with chicken filling.

Ooh, uh, hope it works out. I had work earlier today, and although I didn't do much, it was still a bit tiring for some reason. I think it's because I have to constantly oversee my coworker to make sure he doesn't make mistakes, and it stresses both of us out. Also, my manager keeps giving me her work to do (which kinda makes sense in the way that she generally has a lot to do, but kinda sucks in terms of pay. They really need to give me a raise or stop giving me more work.)

Aha, that's up to you. I tend to go for the Knuffel, unless there's an item that I really want.

So kind of like pie? XD

I hope it does work out too. I'm scared that they'd extend this term to make up for lost days.

*pat* Try to get some rest? And maybe you can ask your manager nicely to lessen your work load.

Hmm...I'll probably go for the knuffels that are going to expire soon.

No, it's not dry. I mean, it's not wet, either. XD; Hard to say.

*pats*

Oh, dw, I'm unwinding on here.

And I don't think she works like that. She would probably just tell me that it's not like I'm busy. Most of the tasks she gives me are a lot of little tedious ones she doesn't want to do herself, but it adds up. *facehands*

Nice!

I understand. Tedious tasks individually are okay but when doing a lot of them, they get pretty tiring ~.~. Especially if the work isn't something you want to do.

Yeah, especially when she gets on my case for forgetting some detail or another. And it's fine when there isn't a lot of stuff going on, but it's frustrating to have to do these things when the place is busy.

Aaanyways, let's set the work unpleasantries aside.

Is there anything you're looking forward to for the holidays?

Yup! Definitely. Christmas time would mean term break aka no school load and my family and I are going on a trip. It's been so long since we went on a trip too because of how busy they are.

How about you?

Oh, that sounds nice! Where are you guys going?

I don't have any big plans myself. The most immediate thing would be a Thanksgiving dinner with my Bible study, but otherwise, I'm too busy with work for November.

In December, there aren't so many shows, so I'll have more time to spend with friends. I might help one of them with the church event since I'll have time then, and we'll probably celebrate together --maybe my brother and I will spend time with both friends and family, splitting up Christmas day.

In January, however, there is a little retreat we're planning for the Bible study, where we rent a place and spend a day or two together, hanging out and learning the Bible, mostly. It's fun. Last time, I was helping with one of the breakfasts and made character pancakes. It took too long, though, so we'll just be having cereal and maybe one other food option for breakfast this time around. XD

My friends also want to go to a spa in January. I'm looking forward to it, since the one I went to in Japan was really nice. (I know it won't be the same, but a spa is still a relaxing place.)
