I go to sleep.. only to wake up at 1am.. -3-

The only time people apologize while laughing, are when their goofing off and a light accident happens and everyone's still laughing so hard but still push out an apology

Sarcasm doesn't always work irl either because I tend to talk in monotone and make no facial expressions.

I remember posting that I had to go get a shot, maybe a flu shot.
A friend said "Oh my God you were shot!?" and I said ".....Yes Bu" and she believed I had been shot xD

I tend to laugh at everything. I've gotten yelled at for it all my life.
People don't realize that laughter and making jokes helps people cope with things.
I also laugh for different reasons...
Say this man murdered his wife and got 5 years in prison.
I'd laugh. I'm not laughing that he killed his wife - I'm laughing because he only got 5 years. Because it's so ridiculous and it's not justice >_>

In my language it's pretty common using hidden meanings, sarcasm, etc. I do it pretty often.
And you know what?
Since we wear masks I've noticed it's much harder to detect.
My students have a real big problem with it, for example, they don't realize when I'm not serious.

I’m usually pretty open and genuine so I rarely use sarcasm? And even if I did, I doubt people would realize it.

I was always called a smartass and my parents would say "She didn't get that from me \>8U/"
I in fact got it from both of them.

This one time, I went to get into the car and:

Me: -opens door- 8u
Mom: Leave the door open and let the air circulate 8U/
Me: -stands there- >>
Mom: Well, get in the car! 8U
Me: I'm letting it CIRCULATE. Bu
Mom: I'm going to kick her ass >BU

Some people say sarcasm isn't funny or at least it's very low tier funny.
I think a lot of people are just bad at it.

As I said, I speak monotone a lot and rarely make expressions so it's easy to fool people into believing stuff.
I remember my sister seeing a bag of detergent with a picture of a seal on it.
She asked if they used seals to make it.
I said yes and that they take baby seals and grind them up into powder and go through a process and eventually become detergent.
She believed me.
I had to tell her I was joking.
