@Ki-chan
Yeah, too bad I never got a chance to have a personal glimpse on Pope Francis. The security were too tight wherever he goes. The roads were jam packed with thousands of people every time he and his entourage passes by. I was just contented watching him live on national television ^_^

and yes, I lived here my entire life. I've never been to any country outside of the Philippines >.<

Hope you could visit my country one of these days. We've got tons of lovely beaches to offer that I'm sure you'll gonna love :)

Yeah I have to agree with elaine above, Palawan is one of the top tourist destination here when you visit my country. It is where the Puerto Prinsesa Subterranean Underground River is located - which is included in The New 7 Wonders of Nature :)

@elaine
Okay, I understand ^_^
Don't worry. I know you have to focus on your studies first.

Beaches :mclove: are they the kind with white sand? I find that kind specially soft!
But my Dad will insist on dragging me into the water :mcsweat: whenever waves come in and sweep sand from under my feet it's sca-a-a-ry!
H'm, I've come across more people from Europe than the US :mcconf:
I'm from India btw, like CycloneKira! :mcgrin: We brought each other here :mclaugh:
Ecchi doesn't sit well with me :mcmeh: maybe because I've seen girls exposed a lot and would like to see guys exposed for a change, but they don't often strip guys or make their... parts noticeable in cleavage :mcsweat: I just don't think it's fair that girls are portrayed as objects of desire all the time, as if guys are never objects of desire. It's like labels. I know people who actually think/thought all prostitutes are female :mcmeh: like I asked my mom, 'Girls are called 'sluts', how come guys like that aren't called anything?' and she was like 'They're called 'gigolos', you just never hear the word being used because... well, you see those scenes where a guy's getting entertained by loads of girls. Being sluttish is a way of being macho, it's not something guys are made to be ashamed of.'
I hope that wasn't irrelevant? :chick: I couldn't help but spew my views, sorry.

I enjoy standing in the water and letting the tide pull me out c:
Then I walk a little back to shore and repeat when I'm too far out.

Does Free come under ecchi? Girls are cuter though c:
I don't like it when they draw overly massive breasts. It just seems so unrealistic and also painful. (maybe? Idk .__.)
What would male sexy anime involve? Maybe more man butts and tight pants O:
I've never heard someone use gigolos o___o It sounds like something that holds water.
We call em man sluts. :D
I know what you mean though. People are quick to call a openly sexual woman a slut whereas men are praised for wooing a lot of women.

@ Master Poshi - it's less expensive to live here, compared to first world countries ^_^

Also, I don't think Free! is under ecchi (unless I'm wrong O_O)
It's about swimming (so it's kinda normal to see abs) ... and I really haven't seen humongous ... private parts (in general) when I watched portions of the anime over my sister's shoulder as she was watching it. It seemed pretty decent to me~

And yes. Big breasts hurt a lot of women O_O

And maybe you were subconsciously thinking of goggles when you think of gigolos? ;)

@ Urban Myth - we have beaches with white sand ^_^
I'm not comfortable with ecchi either ... I try to stay away from that genre ... but there are tons of amazing anime and manga that are under ecchi! T_T

Haven't posted in a bit cause I haven't been watching anime. However, I started to a bit again so I am back around~~

I can tell you that big breasts are painful and hurt more people than just women (as I am not one). In many ways they can hurt, especially on your back, or if you do not identify as female. Unfortunately, I used to have them though they came with intense dysphoria. More than fortunately, I just recently got top surgery. :D Which is essentially a double mastectomy, but the surgeon makes your chest look more masculine than feminine.

I feel loads better. (:

But yeah it is really messed up that women are over sexualized and portrayed as objects. That is the world we live in, unfortunately. But I could talk about that forever. xP

I want to go to the beach... Our sand is tan. I actually live a few hours from Virgina Beach, we used to make day trips~ I would looooove to go to the Philippines, though. You live in a beautiful country, though I am sure you know that. (:

I enjoyed Free! I don't think it is ecchi, though. I am okay with ecchi things in general, unless it is really out of line, or if anything even close to molestation happens.

Damn that must've been an expensive surgery and also kind of cool to get all that weight off your chest. Huehuehue. Was it more of a tuck to achieve a masculine chest or remove everything?

Our sand is yellow but we do have some beaches with white dunes.
I live in Sydney and take beaches for granted. Coast! Coast everywhere and I can't even swim. I can walk to the beach in 20 mins from my uni.

I don't often watch ecchi because I enjoy actual plot. They can get repetitive and almost everyone has massive boobs except for that one loli. I don't think there's ever an in between.
