Random but still relevant question. But do you have any pets to take with you?

I have my dog, but I don't think I'll be able to properly care for her with my health with how it's been, so my dad's taking her for me

her name is Maddie, I was originally planning on taking her with me when I moved, but then... if I couldn't properly care for her I'd feel like a terrible person.. I think my dad will do a good job watching her *nods*

I really want a pet. But I'm afraid I won't be able to take care of it D:

I'd say, for starters, maybe get something like a hamster/gerbil/guinea pig since they're pretty easy. feed them and give them water once a day (or more with water depending on if they drink a lot) then change their bedding in the cage about once a week or more if it gets bad *nods*

I might actually be getting a guinea pig a few months after I move, I have a friend who's breeding them every so often, but she said next time will be in July or August. So that's pretty neat

I did have hamsters before :'( But I was so young... I never really paid attention. If I really want to have a pet in the future, I'll surely start with something small.

and from what I hear about caring for cats sounds pretty similar, change the litter once a week unless it gets gross more often, and feed and water. cats seem to have a 'I'm my own keeper' sort of attitude
I was also thinking about just getting a cat later on down the road, if I can afford it, since they seem easy to care for compared to dogs

Oh I don't think I can handle a dog! xD Unless I have a partner or something :o And plus, I finally decided that I'm a cat person. I like cats. Cats are nice.

I think it depends on the animal, since they all have their different personalities
