@Hot: Yeah, I could find something just to pay the bills but I'm afraid if I do that, I won't be able to focus on getting some clients for the business. I've already been there while trying to set up the whole business thing and I just ended up burnt out... Besides, I can't really see myself in corpo again and that's basically the only thing I could apply to... I mean, I could apply to other stuff, they just won't hire me because *ExPeRiEnCe*

I hate selling stuff to people and that was sort of related. It also seemed completely pointless and like a waste of my time and energy. I was basically praying for people not to pick up their phones and if they did I cried after every call I had. So yeah, I suck at phones XD

@Hana: Thanks, now I know it at least looks okay :mclaugh:

Omg, I know the weight. Ash keeps putting it on my back since forever.
I hope I can find someone to pay me, haha.

What kind of a job do you do, if you don't mind sharing?

Off topic, but I have to share this as a proud aunt. My nephew SITS! He can sit now! I wanna go there and hug the heck out of him :mcargh: I shouldn't be this excited over somebody being able to sit, lol. Still, it's a *confetti rain* moment for me :mclaugh:

Mem: well its better to have a job than none right? After all, yeah you need $$ to pay those bills. As for the editing, it’ll be hard if you don’t have experience, and even if you set up something, people asking for your skills would want to see credentials and experience. It’ll be hard until you can get started up…>< maybe try something like interning?

Oh ugh, i sometimes have to make calls too but mainly to other service people like ordering more ink/toner/supplies and stuff. I do have to field that occasional call but they’re mostly transferable unless they’re looking for someone who’s unavailable, then i just ask them to leave a message.

Congratulations on nephews learning how to sit? XD

Maybe it's better to have one than none, but for me it's better to have none and focus on what I want instead of killing myself day by day...
I already did some interning tho, that's the thing. It's not like I don'thave ANY experience. I know I'm quite good at editing. People just want more than what I have.
Maybe it's just that I've only just begun looking for jobs in editing and been only seeing people who want experienced shit.

I hate even such small things. Calling a doctor is something I dread, lol.

Haha, thanks XD

Catching up... XD

@mem! I looked at your website and I agree it looks great! Google actually auto-translated it for me although I get the feeling it messed a lot up XD But I like how it has a theme and all, and it carries on that theme through everything so it doesn't feel just like a gimmick.

Oh! B is sitting too now haha. He also started eating real food last week. It's a bit earlier than you're supposed to, but he's so big and he had already spent a few weeks basically lunging for any food he saw someone else eating because he wanted to try it. In the end we just said okay, let's get you something XD So far he tried apple puree, sweet potato puree, and prune puree. He hates sweet potato apparently XD

Talking of getting so big, we did some maths and we worked out that if he stays as far above the average as he is now, he'll be over 6 foot 4 when he's an adult :mcshock: Compared to his cousins, my sister in law says he's about the size they were when they were one year old. and he's still not even 6 months!! In fact, he's even wearing some clothes already that are sized for age 12 months. I can't believe it XD he's almost too big for his pram too... and he weighs 21 pounds now XD

I hate calls as well XD I get my assistant to do them huhuhuhuh~ she's very proactive, so if I just casually mention "Oh, I was going to call such and such company today..." she'll just go ahead and do it for me XD

I see. Well i wish you luck in finding a job Mem.

Oh ugh same. I haven’t had a body checkup in years. 8U i don’t want to find out that i have something that requires medicine and stuff. I know i have an unhealthy lifestyle, i don’t need a doctor to rub it in by pointing it out. XD;;

Jacob: i want an assistant lol. An assistant to the assistant administrator lol. XD yeah fat chance of that lol.

@jacob: Thanks! I tried so hard with keeping the theme. I'm still not sure if maybe I went a bit too far :mcheh:

Omg, your boy is so big! :mcomg: He really grows rapidly. I heard some kids do that and then they slow down real hard for a while. I don't know if that's true though.
I saw a video of my nephew trying to eat carrot and potato, I don't think he'll be a veggie guy :mclol:

*steals the assistant*

@Hot: Thanks :mcargh:

Exactly. Tell me something I DON'T know for a change :mcmeh:

I too want an assistant, I'm so jealous. I would make her apply for jobs for me because I wouldn't have to feel the dread of it :mcheh:

Mem: lol right?

but if your assistant went for your interviews, then wouldn't they be getting the job instead of you? 8U wouldn't make much sense unless you have them bring a tablet and you can video chat with your potential employer lol. although, if they did that, you wouldn't have to leave your house or get an assistant either, hahaha. XD

@Mem

I work as a tutor for ESL students. Mostly preparing for English tests and stuff, but occasionally they give me something random like social justice.

I remember when I interviewed for it I was SUPER nervous. But I knew someone who worked within the company already, so I got to hear about the behind-the-scenes after my interview, and apparently they were all like "wow she's really confident".

I was like ??????????

I'll take it though LOL

@Hot: No, I meant to make the assistant send online applications for me. I just get so nervous about the Send button :mcsweat: The interview would be on me :mclaugh:

@Hana: I never know anybody from the company. I have no friends, lol. What I would give to know beforehand what they'll ask me and how to respond.
I wish the job announcements and employers were honest. Like, don't ask me how much I want for the job, tell me what you're offering... They all say "pro-active, easy going", some bs like that yet at the same time they want flawless and highly responsible. And I'm here like, dude, if I'm about to be flawless and highly responsible I ain't gonna be easy going, you know what I'm saying?

Had to google esl students. Your job sounds cool! Although probably demanding af :mcheh:
