Yea! By the way, are there things rats can't eat? o.e

I usually look up items if I'm thinking about giving them to my rats, but here's a webpage/forum about the goods and the bads
(I'm pretty sure I've also read somewhere that dried fruits are bad, since they can expand in the stomach and another page I found at one point specifically said not to give pizza crust to rats, since it could be too hard and your rat could choke)

edit~ also, I read that small amounts of ham/turkey are good but only in very-very small portions since lunch-meat has a lot of added salts and such, you don't want to dehydrate your little one or make them sick

Those are things I thought it would be fine for them to eat :o I guess not!

~edit: also, interesting thing, Pippin (my younger one) occasionally shakes/shivers pretty intensely at being pet some days. I had tried to figure out what was going on when I first noticed it but couldn't really find much, but the shaking stopped another day so I figured it was fine.
I found an explanation finally though, because Pip was shaking like crazy today and it had me worried again.

(the rat in this video actually looks kind of like Pip as well, but Pip has more white on her back, I'll have to share a picture of the two of them sometime for you)

sorry for being late with this, but here they are.
the darker/bigger one is Lily (it's hard to tell in the photos, but she's dark brown. the lighting in my apartment isn't very good) and the littler one/light brown patched one is Pippin

Any reasons why you named them that? :D

Lily was just because I thought she looked like that would be her name
Pippin was a bit hard, but I was originally thinking a 'P' name ('cause she 'pips' when she squeaks) but I was originally stuck between "Pika" (like Pikachu) or "Piko" or "Pipa". it took me a good week to figure out a name that stuck with her

I think Pippin is a fitting name :) I also like Piko lol, both sound cutesy!
