I tried learning to roll my Rs when I took a phonetics class in uni. The result... was an utter fail QAQ I basically end up sounding like I'm choking

Yeah my mom can’t roll her tongue either. XD but she can whistle and curl her tongue but just….not roll her Rs lol. XD

Uuugh, I can't whistle for shit... DX I wish I could. I can only whistle backwards, like sucking the air in and somehow that's a whistle, lol. I can move my eyebrows separately, that's my trick XD

I think I've heard before that rolling your tongue and rolling your R are both traits you're born with and can't learn later in life? I'm not sure how accurate that is though /D

my sister sometimes whistles the national anthem. dunno why lol. but she can whistle just like my mom can. although my mom likes to whistle more like a bird lol.
