Well hard to say... the anime came out to be exactly what I imagined from reading the manga lol But personally, manga usually tends to be better.

One of my favorite mangas called the Promised Neverland is getting an anime. I'm super excited but I'm also scared that it might ruin it for me haha orz

ikr manga is almost always better! only exception i can think of is cardcaptor sakura.
