Nevermind before bed, when I wake up in the middle of the night, instead of going back to sleep I check my phone... Then scroll on my phone... Then maybe play a game on my phone... And then go back to sleep an hour later...

I've tried turning all the electronic stuff at least an hour before bed. For some times it worked. Then all went to shit, lol

yeah i was reading a news article today, there's apparently gonna be a meteor shower tonight or something. and they said that you would need at least 20 minutes for you eyes to adjust to the dark. but, if you open your phone in that time, you'd need to start all over again lol.

Lol, tell me there's a meteor shower when I'm in a city and I'll see shit XD I'd have to be extremely lucky. Besides, I'm on a different side of the globe, so it's probably not going to be visible here anyways Idk.

I went to bed early last night and this morning I wasn't sleepy enough to skip my alarm. I immediately turned it off and kept my eyes open (which was not a problem at all, that's new). I can't say I'm fully rested, but it's a progress

I think i slept earlier than usual last night? Usually i’d read til midnight/1am, even tho i have work the next day. Last night, i didn’t.

I couldn't sleep in complete silence if I wanted to. I live in a city, complete silence is impossible
And yes, the mind does wander. And I have the galloping thoughts even during the day. I go to sleep, I wake up, the chaos of my mind is there.

Complete silence sounds frightening honestly.
I used to put on those hours-long ambient sound videos from Youtube to fall asleep to, they worked quite well, but it's tricky to find one that's the right kind of relaxing. Some can get a bit... creepy? LOL
