I love dressing up so much! But I never know what occasion to do it for... I'm not so much into classical partying which seems like the only Halloween event around. Only thing I do dress up for is Medieval Faires. I think the dressing up part is what makes me like them so much ;)
Maybe I should just go to uni in costume on Halloween :D But I'd probably be the only one and people would think I'm crazy ;)

I don't think you'll be the only one dressing up :)
If you like dressing up so much, maybe you can help me :D
I am invited to a party in about 2 weeks and the motto is "special snowflake" which means that you have to chose a costume which nobody else will have (or you'll have to drink a lot). So I reeeeally need a nice outfit. But without spending any money, preferably

Well, in previous years I haven't seen many people dressing up, at most wearing a small accessory. But hey, maybe I should just go for it anyway.
Hm, that sounds like an exciting challenge! You could try to go for a cosplay of a not so well-known character that is wearing some normal-ish clothes so you might already have stuff in your closet that you can use? But I don't really know who that could be, depends a bit on the contents of your closet as well ;)
If it was me I'd just dress up as a character from an opera I like, nobody ever does that :D I went as Papagena to one of our motto days in school, that was really easy (but a bit time consuming) - just sow a bunch of colourful feathers down on a basic shirt and skirt. And I had a mask that I glued feathers to as well :)
Do you have any uncommon interests to draw inspiration from?
Do you have any pieces of old costumes that you might be able to reuse in a new way?

You could go as a rubbish collector, nobody dresses as that since it's not glamorous, and you wouldn't need much for that costume. Grab some old coveralls and make an official-looking name badge and some thick gloves and you're pretty much set....

I'd send you a work shirt and hoodie because I'm pretty sure no one there will have them, all you'd need are khaki pants or shorts, socks, and sneakers
But I have no way to get to the post office when it's open

Man, there's always gonna be someone in costume on halloween. Do your thang.
Cover yourself in cotton balls and get a spray bottle. When people ask what you are say cloudy with a chance of rain and then spray them. Mwahahahaha.
Maybe I can convince husband to do that. Cotton balls are pretty cheap, and we already have a spray bottle.

If you have any more ideas, just tell me xD
Well, I thought about the same thing actually Chrizine... I thought about going as a American Horror Story character from season 2, the girl (forgot her name, long time since I've seen it), she's just wearing casual stuff like a skirt, a hat and a shirt with stilettos which I do all have in my closet...
Or, I could use my work name tag!! And just dress as I would dress for work :D I might be even working that day. That's probably going to be it xD
Ooooh going as a weather condition would be fun! But sounds like a lot of work ;D

Hahaha, well, going as yourself from work is certainly convenient and easy :D
People might start debating if it counts as a costume though ;)
Going as that character sounds like a good idea, but you should probably look up her name ;)
I love the idea of "cloudy with a chance of rain" :D Perfect costume if you have time but not too much money to spend on it :)

(It is actually season 3: Taissa Farmiga as Zoe Benson ;D)
Yea maybe people would say it does not count.. let's see :D
