We're currently doing homestay, so two high school students are living with us. And they are sooooo loud and disrespectful. I don't think parents these days really teach their kids proper manners...

Just today actually we decided to just call it quits and kick them all out at the end of the month. Not worth all the noise and trouble... I'm looking forward to getting better sleep!

so what's homestay? like getting an international/transfer student and allowing them to live with you or something? can you really just "kick" them out? xD;;

yeah same. if anyone is gonna be loud, they should keep that noise before sleeping hours. not at midnight to 1,2,3 am in the morning. like seriously, you might not want to sleep but there's OTHER PEOPLE WHO NEED TO SLEEP DANGIT.

Basically yeah. The homestay students have an agency that takes care of these things for them. So if we want to kick them out the agency will somewhere else for them.
Like we tried talking to them about the issues, like being loud and inconsiderate and disobeying house rules (LIKE NO FOOD IN BEDROOM) but they don't really do anything. So why continue to keep trouble at home -\=n=/-

Worst we ever had at night was this one house across the street throwing a party and BLARING really explicit music at ear-shattering volumes from like midnight to 4:00. The police wouldn't do anything, it was a total gong show. Took forever to finally get the place officially warned for breaking a bylaw or something like that.

Yeah they're international students from China...

They've been getting worse and worse every year. A few years back the homestay students we took in were really nice and we were able to form good relationships that lasted to this day. In recent years the students have gotten more and more rude and spoiled... So we're just really done

Idk what's with the world, these past years a common theme in life seems to be selfish inconsiderate people D: from old roommates to now homestays...
Is it so hard to consider other people's feelings, and understand that they're equally as important as your own -.-;;;;

I ignored you when you showed up on the site all of a sudden, because it wasn't any of my business.

I ignored you when you inserted yourself into every single chat thread I frequent despite the fact we have agreed not to contact one another because of how vicious you have gotten in the past. I politely avoided you because frankly the last thing I wanted was drama.

I let it go last night when you brought up the crying as a dig at me, because there was no particularly good way I could prove that that's what you were doing.

But now you are purposely reopening a conversation that has already moved on to try and get my friends to agree and say disparaging things about me without realizing it. It's true that I have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and I cried often when we lived together. I never once "cried on purpose" or "purposely cried loudly". I was going through hell, and I made my best efforts to assure you that you did not need to check on me.

You have also failed to mention that we were in a serious relationship which you ended with that outburst that made us need to agree not to contact each other in the first place, and that's clearly part of your motivation here. I don't understand why you are doing this or what you think you are gaining, but you need to go somewhere else. I have no control over whether or not you use this website, but you need to go spend time in your own chat threads, and stop this continuous escalation and attempts to harass me.

As for every one else in the thread-- I'm really sorry about all of this. I honestly tried to ignore her so we could all just keep having fun. But it's getting out of control, I can't stand by and say nothing.
