Same here. But we can't afford that right now. So I'm stuck relying on wulfilalice's selling forum and Kat's charity to get the TT sets, and hope the rest of the users can keep this place up and running until I can help. x.x I hate not helping out.

I don't really believe in paying for online transactions for virtual items like that, but I think of this game like any other video game - I am paying for entertainment. Besides, it's not really the items I care about - it's the community here! I have been here for YEARS! I can't imagine losing all of these friends. Plus, I've come to care about Firn and Starkard.

I donated this month, my second donation, and though I can't afford much because of the exchange rate, at least I won't feel guilty for not doing anything to help out. Sure, I get a coin, but the real purpose of my donation is helping as much as I can. Which isn't much, but it's still something. I still wish I could donate more

I thought it used to be 1:1, back in the day. 2:1 is hard to keep up with. x.x
But I understand their reasoning. Time and energy spent on the site, hosting fees, domain fees, SSL certificates.... it gets costly running a site as big as this one!

I'm not sure, I think the fees didn't change since I joined?
And there are different fees depending on the way of payment.

Hm. Strange. I know that the Euro:FC rate was always a bit lower than the USD:FC rate (which makes sense, since the Euro is a bit stronger than the USD), but I can't say I recall the exact numbers. x.x It's been a long time, and I was in high school at the time and had no income, so there was no way I was going to be able to donate. X'D
Then again, that was back when FCs were 7k, so.... x.x A long ass time ago.
I think they go for 75k now?

Based on the donation page, how many FC you get depends how you send the money - I assume since paypal takes a cut from it. Like Firn said at one point that donating everything for a month at once gives them more than donating for one coin here and one coin there because paypal gets a minimum amount from each transaction.
