I do too, but new volumes/sketch books are money sadly..
I also need money for Lily, and was thinking/debating on getting a third rat (I've been watching a lot of videos on rats and such, and found out about 'dumbo rats', they're so cute!)

so, since you said you might get a rat, I'm gonna let you know what's going on.
Lily has two benign mammary tumors, which being benign they aren't considered 'life-threatening' on their own, BUT on rats the tumors will continue to grow until they are as big or bigger than the rat itself, which will be painful and make it so the poor dear can't move around to get food or anything. From what I've read, generally rats (female rats get this type, and it's fairly common) don't usually get these tumors until they're closer to 2.5-3 years of age, so Lily getting them now isn't 'common' but it's happened, and from what I read that if the rat has gotten tumors it's suggested that the rat is also spayed to prevent future lumps.
So, I'm needing to save up for a lump removal and a spaying for Lily, and planning to get Pippin spayed to prevent this from happening to her as well.

I saw pictures and was immediately hit by a wave of cuteness.

a coffee shop where people stand up and read poems they wrote, I don't think there's one where I live, but my brother goes to a bar where they have a poem-smash night where they do the readings.

currently Lily's are about the size of two grapes, one seems to have stopped growing for the time being. I've been doing a flax/yogurt mix thing on carrots that I've read can help slow down the growth of tumors (not scientifically proven or anything, but I think? it's helping) I started Pippin on it too as a just in case, but they seem to really like it as a snack.

They are ;w; So fluffy... so CUTE
Two grapes... are pretty HUGE. Oh goodness.
Whatever helps, you know orz Even if it doesn't help, at least they enjoy it lol

I need to see if any petstores in my area sell them, then do an introduction thingy with Lily and Pippin
the one that seemed to stop going seemed to get a little bigger again
but new job starts at the end of the month, so I'm really hoping I have the funds to take her in by next month sometime.

I keep thinking Bobo, just 'cause every time I see a pic of a dumbo rat for some reason that name just pops to mind (even though I'd be getting a girl), but it would probably depend on when I get a dumbo and either go with a name that pops to mind or go off of her temperment/personality and such, but Bobo seems fitting to me for some reason
I'll have to keep you updated on how Lily is doing when I'm able to go about doing that

oh also, I found this neat website that does rat breeding stuff where you can buy/adopt a rat from there (and put in an order of what kind of ear, coloration, fur type ~since there's the normal fur and the rex fur, which is all wavy and stuff~)
I'm kind of iffy about trying this site, since I'd want to actually go see the baby rats that are old enough to adopt, and see their temperaments (since I don't want to take home a violent rattie or anything), but it's still a pretty neat website, I think you have to live within a certain distance or whatnot from there to do pickups or deliveries though :\

Hm... I doubt there's one near me, but maybe if I go back to my home city!!
Man, more than dogs or cats, I really really want a hamster or a rat. I just can't believe some people (mom) find them gross!! TT TT
Since we're talking about rats I really really REALLY want one... ;w;
Maybe once I start doing a part time or after college...
