Meanwhile I've had school canceled cuz of blizzard conditions before

Ha ha ha, yeah, I remember spending a fair bit of time in Dawson one year (learned more than I needed to know about the Klondike gold rush). My awe for the people who live there all their lives is nigh on boundless! (I felt so isolated all the time, there)
And it changed my view of snow: it was weirdly often WARMER with snow than without. Go figure!

These days I'm a complete wimp about it, and stay inside when it even threatens to snow.
Eh, well. Never said I was tough. :P

Yeah, I’ve noticed that it’s usually warmer with snow. Lol. Because at colder temperatures it turns to ice.

Ah, I so appreciate my own area right now!
I planted a bunch of bulbs last fall and they are almost ready to bloom! (They have two more days to do it before I leave, ha, but point is. Nice weather.)

Well. We did get a bit of snow just recently but bulbs are hardy, it didn't even last a full day, and it's back to being relatively nice again.
