I don't really have any non-magical characters, alas. But for a good chunk of my characters, their magic is just kind of an expected thing--everyone in the locations the characters are in have magic, so it'd be really weird for them not to have any. And their magic is so oddly specific/lackluster that they hardly ever use to to get ahead, since their magic can't do much to beat the magic of the people they're fighting against.

...then there are the super-ultra-mega-overpowered magical characters, but some of them are so incompetent it's like the magic is wasted on them.

Geez I'm so far behind. What's up?

Being an artist and writer myself, I tend to take plagiarism seriously.

I started of drawing myself, but rarely shared my works due to lack of skill. In RPs, I tended to just stick with description.

Well, if one topic ever gets old, you're always welcomed to start a new one.

You don't have to share your OCs here if you're uncomfortable with it, but many of us do ike to.

I don't have as many non-magic/fantasy OCs as I used to, but there have been a couple that I would write into such settings in the past. I don't think that a well-made OC is boring, regardless of the genre. A good OC is complex, with a sort of personality that engages the audience, and is flavored by a good story. (Otherwise I'd only read fantasy works.)

I just prefer fantasy myself because it has a sense of wonder and malleability that works with my own interests, understanding, and writing style. I also have a personal fondness for magic folks.

Same. I'm on another site that's strictly for RP, and there's a big taboo against using random images, thanks to the big artist population there. I don't mind. (though I'm not as gung-ho against it compared to others I've talked to) I'd rather save up a few bucks to get a commission of a character design than spend forever searching for 'just' the right image. Though, sometimes I look at other pictures when I'm trying to decide how a new OC should look, then redesign it into something new, but along the same lines.

I'm having writers and artist block. Aaannnddd I just created another character, whom I have no idea what I'm going to do with. XD *fail* I dunno if I'm going to keep her or just let her fade.

I have a few non magical characters. I think...I dunno. XD

Aaa, I do the same exact thing, besides that, I get a lot of dumb ideas for stories/OC universes, like, one time I got an idea where every character is a different shade of green, what am I supposed to do with that? >_>

My best friend told me to keep the ideas I get so I can perhaps use them for something else down the line, that seems like pretty safe advice.

^ It is good advice to save them, no matter how weird/strange they seem at the time, and more importantly, SAVE THEM IN ONE SPOT, argh. I have tried to start doing that so often then have forgotten where I started writing them down and started another document or notebook, and then forgotten again...

I'm so scatterbrained. >__<

Ah, that must be a struggle, hahah, I'm the type of person who never writes down my ideas or my OCs' bios, those are some bad habits, or rather, lack of good ones, ahahahah.
