Awww, I hope you don't get rebounds from all the painkillers D:
I'm actually on a medicine that gives me low blood pressure, and that's helping with the migraines a lot, though I have to be careful it doesn't get so low I pass out :mclaugh: . But for you, you need to raise it? *makes lots of delicious salty foods*

No, fortunately not :qsml:
Wow, is it some side effect of that medicine or its main purpose? Yeah, you have to be careful! :mcomg:
Yep, whenever I had a headache and an opportunity to measure my blood pressure, it was incredibly low every freaking time (which is weird, my mom and grandma usually have headaches when their pressure is sky rocketing). So my only guess was to raise it somehow, trying to avoid painkillers at all costs. I'm also suffering during my periods and used to almost get addicted to the super strong OTC painkillers I was taking back in the older days. So I was smart enough to stop taking them, but since then I'm scared to take any painkillers. I don't want to get addicted :qsob: So if I'm lucky a coffee or exercising will help me. If I'm not, well, I have no other choice than pills.

Well, its main purpose other than migraines is for people with high blood pressure :mclaugh: So since I don't have high blood pressure, I end up with low blood pressure instead. But I find that's more manageable than the migraines, would you agree?

I know you're supposed to have lots of salt and fluids to raise your blood pressure! So maybe keep juice and crackers on hand for a snack?
Oh no, that sounds scary D: Good on you for managing to stop, though!

I was just asking, since some medicines have low/high blood pressure as side effects :qw: Yeah, that does sound better than migraines :qt:

I probably should, since I also have some stomach/esophagus trouble :qlol: Sometimes even a sandwich is too much, even if I'm really hungry :qcry:
I know, scary like hell. My family has a bad history of addictions so seeing, observing and learning on the mistakes of others I decided to not go that way. Plus I was experiencing strong side effects from that painkiller, it helped me make that decision. What's the point in taking a medicine for one thing if it makes you feel worse in another area :qstr: Now I'm experimenting with other painkillers, but with a doctor's supervision.

Oooh yeah, crackers and juice definitely sounds like a good thing to have on hand then! And maybe like, grapes or applesauce or something? *trying to think of foods that are easy on the stomach*

I hope it's going a lot better with these ones! :mcglee:

Ooo, grapes, I love grapes! *makes viscious shopping list right away* :mcsquee:

Well, I was almost crying from the menstrual pain at work just a few days ago, so... unfortunately no, they don't help that much :qcry: *curses out her femininity* It also depends on a month tho :qhehe: Sometimes I'm dying, sometimes the pain is manageable.

Hooray, I have success! What else....strawberries?

Oh no that's terrible D: Are you switching to a new one now?
*whaps the painkillers* Work, darn you!

Yeah, during the season, sure. I like strawberries. Last time I bought myself a packet of sweet biscuits. During the day I had a choice, sandwich or biscuits. And since my esophagus obviously did not want to cooperate, I chose the biscuits, despite the hunger for a sandwich :qsweat:

I only had the opportunity to use it this month, previous one was mild. I plan to see for another few months, but I'm disencouraged, since the only time I needed it to work, it didn't :qsob:

At least you had the biscuits though! That's better than nothing :qcute:

Yeah that doesn't sound promising :mcsad: Hopefully it just takes some time before it starts working and next time your body's used to it or whatever and it helps!

Yeah, I ate half of them at once XD

I know :qsob: But I need to experiment for the next few months if I want to see. Most of the pills either don't work or work occassionally or work definitely too slowly, like after an hour, when I need them to really work fast, cause I'm literally dying ;/ I really do hope my system will get used to the new meds.
