Is there nothing you can take preventatively? I think it's really hard to find something that works faster than probably half an hour... And obviously working not at all or inconsistently is no good!

I don't know, maybe something hormonal would help. But I don't really look forard to messing up my hormones and libido and everything. And my bf is totally against it too, tho I'm not sure why. I'd have to ask the doctor, because I really don't know ;/

Maybe he's worried about it for the same reasons you are?

I think he's got that belief that hormonal pills had something to do with his mom passing away. Which is irrational and unlike him, he's all logic type. And yes, on the logical side, he probably thinks it's unnatural and not good for a woman, gaining weight (which would actually be good for me ) plus the libido thing. But I heard of some additional pills taking care of that problem. So I really don't know what kind of problem he has with the hormonal pills.

I hope so too, because some months are torture and I can't function normally. Add hard PMS to that, I'm a nightmare to myself and others around me
