I'm still getting sunflowers also... -is confused-

I bet people was just telling in case it could be any kind of glitch they should report.

Btw will the shop be disabled as soon as the sunflowers are gone?

It'll give some people, like newbies, a little extra time to get at least one item they want.

I think the shop will be open a bit longer when the sunflowers are gone Amura. Because if I recall, that's how it was for the Easter event. It might be different this time though..
