Here in New Zealand we've already had "anti-pirating legislation" passed which mean you can have your Internet access shut off without warning for downloading ANYTHING! All you need is some goon to say that your WoW patches/Minecraft patches/Texture pack downloads/iTunes purchases were really torrented music/movies and BOOM! No internet.

However our legislation only affects one little island, 4.some million potential Internet users. Changes to USA legislation has the potential to affect the ENTIRE WORLD, the way their economic hiccups affect the global economy!

This bill is so scary in how extremely vague it is. From what I've read a company can simply go "I don't like this website" and it'll get pulled from the mainstream web with no warning D=

I don't see how this is going to help anyone but the big companies. Really, in who's favor is it really? Those who already have 20 million getting more money?
The more I think about it, the more I want to curse and even deathwishes come up. Because it's going to affect foreign countries too.

Example: A Dutch girl singing video's for fun of artist like Beyonce. She posts it on youtube.
If the law is passed, they can remove all her video's, and blacklist her from all record companies in the future. Meaning she cannot ever become an artist in the future.
That's not right! We cannot let this happen!!! I can't believe that American people could be responsible of ruining someone elses future in a whole different country with that law???

No, we should not let this happen. You know, America will be affected by this just as much as any other country. Not all of American's are wanting this passed. I am sure there are million who are opposed to this. It is not fair to everyone here in the whole world.

To me, if they did this I would not be able to get on anything. Plus I would not be able to get on here, and I would miss this site deeply.
