It's really hard to just pick one favorite, but I'll recommend just one of my favorites! It's called Princess TuTu and the aesthetic and storytelling is excellent in my opinion! :>

I really can't say one anime is my favorite, I have tons that I like and my friends get me into new ones or I come across a good series randomly.

I'm not one who has favourites // i think. 
but I enjoy futuristic / rpg themed anime like
Log Horizon, No Game, No Life, Made in Abyss, ReLife, and Gakusen Toshi Asterisk

Does an Anime Movie count? If it does, Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust. If not, the original Dragon Ball.

My favourite anime of all time would have to be Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. The story was just so good. And the music, to this day I have yet to find another anime where I loved all opening and ending songs of.
