After one canceled flight because of a snowstorm (where I ended up having to stay at my layover city for a night and most of yesterday) I am finally home! Except my luggage wasn't...because of all the canceled flights it didn't make the same flight I did I guess, but they found it luckily! I was really worried since I had my writing notebook and sketchbook there, so I'm so happy they found it! Still waiting for it to be delivered though... :mcheh:

My usual goal is to read one book a week/52 books a year, but that honestly never happens, so I think I'll just continue reading 30 minutes a day and see how many that gets me. :P 30 sounds like a reasonable goal though!

Oh hey Vlad I remember when the Leviathan trilogy was just coming out and remembering I wanted to read it since I liked Scott Westerfeld's other works, but I totally forgot until you brought it up! So that's going on my list too, thank you for reminding me.

The library closest to me is really small, so I decided to go into the city and also get a library card from there! Easily accessible by subway so it's easy to get there, and the branch I went to was HUGE and I was able to find many more books! Plus they have some perks such as free passes to some museums and the aquarium! :mctongue:

Hehe lunar I too am socially awkward to the point of cringing every night about the day's awkward blunders. XD

@Sanssouci: I looked it up. It sounds interesting. The library nearest me is part of a college so it's not technically part of the county library system so I don't know if I'm able to do that.

Yikes! I hope they get to you soon, Vivacity.

I have had a moment of major awkwardness once where I have actually mooed in someones face...

Wow, I am glad they didn't lose your stuff! I am too afraid to fly!

I usually set my goal at 50, but I didn't make it in 2017. So I thought I'd take it down a bit this year.

I cringe every night too!

I got the book free at the public library booth at the state fair a couple years ago!

I got my suitcase back today! So happy it got sorted out in the end! :mcglee:

Hehe Sanssouci my dad used to be terrified of flying and wouldn't let any of us fly on school trips, but now that he always has to do business in China he's gotten over it mostly, flying back and forth and all. :P I've never been afraid of flying (I'm more in awe of the whole thing), but I can see how it can be scary...I kinda zone out when they go over the emergency procedures because I've heard them so many times, but I still always have a brief moment of thinking about what I would do if something scary happens...

Haha Vlad that's some kind of story to tell, mooing in someone's face. XD

OMG, that would make my nerves shot! I really don't think I could get on a plane. I've never had a panic attack (at least I don't think?), but I think I would if I tried to get on a plane.

Oh no it's not nearly as scary as they make it sound! Though I totally get wanting to stay on the ground haha. I'm assuming you'd never try something like skydiving, eh? :P I kinda want to just to prove I can, but then I start thinking about how high it is and freak out. XD

If I had a superpower though, it would be flight because then I get to be in the air but also in control!

I'd never want to go skydiving either. Or bungie jumping...

Inwas flying the other day and my flight was almost cancelled too. I’m wondering if it was the same storm that caused it. Luckily we didn’t check any lugage so when we swapped flights on our layover we didn’t have to worry about stuff missing.

Real talk for a moment: Can we Go back to that month that Pokemon Go was released. Everyone was so happy and the only people down my throat were old men at work who complained about a cell phone app kids were playing. Can we have that? Please.
