Speaking of lurking... *Sneaks back in after a month of not posting*

Good luck, Kuuki! Hope you actually do get around to publishing your book!

Thanks!
I have worked exactly 0 second on the book since then though so it looks like it won't happen anytime soon XD

Hahaha, Moon Star, welcome back to the living world! :mclaugh:

Well, Kuuki, it's never late.
I'm sure that book will wait for you as long as needed, it's not going anywhere!

Thanks, Amura! Not sure how long I’ll last before I go back to playing dead, but for now I guess I’m gonna be posting, lmao.

And I’m the same, Kuuki. I say I’ll do something (like write out a story idea) and then 4 weeks later I’m like “I never did write that down…” And repeat ad nauseam with different ideas, kek.

Thank you for the support everyone :qh:

It's still a goal of mine for this year to have it completed, or at least sufficiently edited so I can send it to a publisher to test the waters because there's no way something I wrote in three weeks is good enough for publishing XD

You still have plenty of time, Kuuki! You can just set some goals, like "I'll have edited 20 pages by March", and stuff like that! (Says the person who doesn't do that, lol)

Tried that, didn't work.
I'm still in awe that I managed to finish Nano.

Maybe printing it would help. I should try that.

That would be pretty satisfying, holding a solid book in your hands that you wrote -unedited or not-.
You should definitely print it out!

Plus, then you could take a few pages and a marker and go sit outside with it, which is always nice.
Well.
*looks outside at the insane weather*
Maybe not always nice...

Yup. I read that printing it out if you write on the computer does help with editing because you see it in another form and it helps you see it in a new light.

I kinda feel like it's a waste of paper though.

My hubby just published a book. Science.
So yesterda during dinner we were joking about which kind of book I should write.
If I did not have so much tp do it would be a lovely task.
But I don't think I have the push to get started at all.
